History:
(Deadpool Corps: Rank & Foul - Invisible Man entry - BTS) - Darick Gallhager was an American citizen and had a Ph.D in chemistry.

(Agent X I#8 (fb) - BTS) - Gallhager worked at developing weapons for the military.

(Agent X I#9 (fb)) - As a chemist working for the government, Darick Gallhager created a special formula using top-secret government chemicals and secretly planned to sell his formula to the Russians and run away to Mexico with his mistress. Once the formula had been perfected, Gallhager tested it on himself and his forearm became totally invisible. Almost immediately after, Gallhager and his fellow chemists were confronted by gun-toting military soldiers who wished to keep the formula from falling into the wrong hands. Fearing that the soldiers were going to take his formula and kill him, Gallhager ran for his life and bumped into a soldier, spilling some of the formula on the soldier. By the time he had escaped and made his way home, Gallhager was completely invisible and he found his home torched and his wife dead. Quickly noticing that his daughter Christine had been missed in the attack, Gallhager scooped her up and exposed her to the formula in an effort to hide her from the government agents who were after him. Without access to the top-secret chemicals used to create the formula, Gallhager proved unable to create a cure for their invisibility and the father and daughter went on the run, changing identities many times over a span of years. During her childhood, Christine wanted a pony but Gallhager refused to get her one. As she grew, Christine became obsessed with using makeup to appear "normal" and she eventually used what was left of her father's formulas to establish the Gal-Hag Cosmetics company, earning millions. Gallhager never told Christine that the soldiers had come after the family due to his earlier plot to sell his formula to Russia.

(Agent X I#9 (fb) - BTS) - The Gallhager family essentially made an entire fortune selling cosmetics that literally made wrinkles invisible.

(Agent X I#8 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, Darick Gallhager purchased the Jose Lopez Mexican restaurant and despite that, he took to eating at an Italian restaurant called Sigusmundo's every night in Little Italy.

(Deadpool Corps: Rank & Foul - Invisible Man entry - BTS) - Gallhager designed an invisible stun gun for his own personal use.

(Agent X I#8) - Thirty years following Gallhager's transformation, the mercenary Agent X was summoned to Gal-Hag Cosmetics for a hit job and offered two million dollars from Gal-Hag president Christine Gallhager to kill a man in a photo she showed and she kept her familial relationship to the target a secret.

(Agent X I#9 (fb) - BTS) - Christine Gallhager informed Agent X that the millionaire man was to be killed for kidnapping crimes.

(Agent X I#8) - At first confused due to the photo seeming showing no one but Christine herself, Agent X soon learned that his target was an invisible man. Traveling downtown to the Jose Lopez restaurant, Agent X roughed up the employees, demanding to see their invisible boss, but all he managed to learn was about the Invisible Man's daily visits to Sigusmundo's Italian restaurant. Informing Christine of what he had learned, Agent X next traveled to Sigusmundo's in Little Italy, where he did a repeat of the roughing up he had given the Jose Lopez employees until the Invisible Man snuck up on Agent X and hit him with a frying pan. The Invisible Man then attempted to sneak out an emergency exit but Agent X placed Sigusmundo in an oven and turned it on, threatening to kill Sigusmundo unless the Invisible Man allowed himself to be killed. Agent X then ventured out of the emergency exit himself in an attempt to find the Invisible Man and when Sigusmundo ran out of the restaurant on fire, Agent X deduced that the Invisible Man must have went another direction since Sigusmundo did not run into him. When Agent X, out of ideas, asked the Invisible Man to turn himself over to the mercenary to save the lives of the rest of Sigusmundo's staff, the Invisible Man agreed to discuss the matter if Agent X dropped his gun. The Invisible Man then charged his 10,000 volt stun gun and again ordered Agent X to drop his weapon. Agent X refused and the Invisible Man hit him with the stun gun, admitting that he had warned Agent X and that he hated guns.

    The Invisible Man then asked Agent X why the mercenary was trying to kill him and when Agent X joked that he planned to use the money for mercenary office supplies, the Invisible Man offered to pay Agent X more but Agent X refused, angry at being shocked. Shocking Agent X again, the Invisible Man insisted Agent X was after an innocent man and, intrigued at the possibility that the Invisible Man was indeed innocent, he halted his attack and questioned why he would have been hired to kill an innocent man, only to find the Invisible Man gone. Returning to Gal-Hag Cosmetics, Agent X reported back to Christine Gallhager, who informed Agent X that the Invisible Man once developed weapons for the military and insisted that her father was not innocent despite his claims. Surprised that the Invisible Man was Christine's father, Agent X upped his price to four million, two million up front and two more once the Invisible Man was dead, and Christine agreed on the condition that no one would be able to trace the Invisible Man's murder back to her. As he departed Gal-Hag, Agent X smelled a burning smell similar to the stun gun used by the Invisible Man and, sensing that the Invisible Man was secretly following him, Agent X stopped Gal-Hag's revolving door, trapping the Invisible Man in the door. When a police officer walked up to question why Agent X was holding up the door, Agent X stepped out and the Invisible Man ran right into the police officer, revealing his location long enough for Agent X to slash him with his sword. The Invisible Man responded by shocking Agent X again and running into the nearby Galactus Chef Supply store. When Agent X pursued, the Invisible Man questioned whether the money was worth killing him and asked if Agent X would be willing to give him 24 hours to prove he had contributed to society and tried to be a good father. When Agent X refused, the Invisible Man knocked a display of flour onto the mercenary and Agent X responded by hurling two grenades towards the Invisible Man.

(Agent X I#9) - Following the grenade explosions, the Invisible Man was covered in cooking supplies but when he couldn't see his own hand, he panicked, thinking Agent X had blown off his hand. Begging for his life, the Invisible Man asked to be killed somewhere else and with dignity. Noticing that the Invisible Man was grasping something as he begged, Agent X poked at the Invisible Man's unseen hand with his sword, proving that the Invisible Man had not lost a hand and that it was simply still invisible. Agent X then prepared to leave with the Invisible Man and gave the man some clothes, reminding the Invisible Man that he had asked to be killed with dignity. Agent X then took the Invisible Man to Yetti Apparel and forced him to put on the clothes, which turned out to be a dress and stockings, prompting the Invisible Man to question whether he was truly going to be killed with dignity. A laughing Agent X then explained that he had also bandaged the Invisible Man's wounds because he wanted to question the Invisible Man before killing him. Agent X started by asking why Christine Gallhager had called the Invisible Man a kidnapper but before the Invisible Man could answer, Agent X became distracted at boots he found in the clothing store. When Agent X became angry that the shoes did not come in his color and commented that he was angry enough to kill, the Invisible Man again begged for his life and asked for twenty-four hours to prove himself a good man.

    Insisting that he would die for his daughter, the Invisible Man promised Agent X would still get his four million if he were allowed his requested twenty-four hours to prove himself both to Agent X and Catherine. Giving the Invisible Man one hour instead, Agent X reported back to Catherine, who angrily berated Agent X for not yet killing the Invisible Man as ordered. Agent X then took the Invisible Man to a dock as requested by the Invisible Man and once there, the Invisible Man explained that the dock seemed like a quiet place to give his story and claimed that, if Agent X still wished to kill him after his story, he could have a burial at sea. As soon as he got out of the bus, however, the Invisible Man removed the dress and tried to run for it, only to be tackled by Agent X. The Invisible Man then led Agent X to the family yacht, the Fanatic 2, where Agent X forced the Invisible Man to apply makeup to his face in order to stay visible. After the Invisible Man recounted his origins and how he had ruined his daughter's life due to being blinded by his own passions, Agent X asked why Christine had claimed the Invisible Man was a kidnapper and moments later, Christine's bodyguard Dante attacked the yacht, prompting the Invisible Man to suggest Agent X ask Christine about her motivations for wanting him dead. After Dante accidentally created two holes in the yacht's floor and Christine arrived with a gun, Agent X learned from Christine that the Invisible Man was not truly a kidnapper, only that Christine felt he had "kidnapped" her childhood. Christine then refused to pay Agent X his promised other half of his payment and instead announced her plans to kill her father herself while Dante would kill Agent X. Agent X reminded Christine that her father had turned her invisible in an attempt to save her life and how the Invisible Man had also helped her found the Gal-Hag Cosmetics company that had made her rich and the Invisible Man reiterated that he was trying to help his daughter. While the yacht began to sink, the Invisible Man and Christine continued their family squabbling as Dante and Agent X found the other half of Agent X's payment and leaped into the water, blowing up the yacht behind them with the Invisible Man and Christine still inside.

    While he did not appear in the issue, the Invisible Man was mentioned by his codename in the text blurb about the next issue in Agent X I#7. That was the only time that the Invisible Man seemed to be used as an actual codename, as Gallhager himself never refers to himself as such in Agent X I#8-9 and while he is called that by Agent X several times, it seems more like a nickname than an actual codename. His profile in Deadpool Corps: Rank & Foul has him profiled under that name though and that is what I'm going with for the purposes of this profile.

    The Invisible Man's original hair color was shown as black on one panel flashing back to before his transformation and brown on the second panel. His modern OHotMU profile in Deadpool Corps: Rank & Foul confirms that the Invisible Man's pre-transformation hair color was indeed black. For what it's worth, his hair color also appears gray in Agent X I#9 but that can be explained away by the fact that he was completely invisible at that point and had covered his face in makeup in order to be seen. With that in mind, the gray hair color was merely the color his appeared with makeup caked into it.

    The Invisible Man's first name was revealed in his profile in Deadpool Corps: Rank & Foul.

    The Invisible Man's OHotMU entry in Deadpool Corps: Rank & Foul mentions the Jose Lopez restaurant as being located in Mexico but Agent X I#8 explains that Gallhager visited Sigusmundo's Italian restaurant in Little Italy, New York on a nightly basis. Given that fact, I'm leaning more to believe that the Jose Lopez restaurant was simply a Mexican restaurant, not a restaurant located IN Mexico, especially since that would be a heck of a lot of flights from Mexico to New York if he was going to Little Italy every single night...I do get where the restaurant being in Mexico likely came from though, as Gallhager had originally planned to leave the country and go to Mexico with his mistress. It doesn't seem too far-fetched that he could've still went to Mexico after going into hiding and bought the restaurant there. It just doesn't ultimately seem very plausible that he would take daily flights back to Little Italy to visit Sigusmundo's though if he were living in Mexico...

    Despite his weapon being outright called a "stun gun," Agent X mentioned to Christine Gallhager that the "stun gun" was more like a cattle prod.

Galactus Chef Supply

Galactus Chef Supply was a retail outlet that sold cooking supplies. When Agent X was attempting to kill the Invisible Man, the Invisible Man ran into Galactus Chef Supply, only to ultimately have the building blown up by two grenades hurled by Agent X. Ultimately covered in cooking supplies during the explosion, the Invisible Man was captured by Agent X and they departed the rubble of the Galactus Chef Supply store.

Jose Lopez

The Jose Lopez was a Mexican restaurant/bar owned by Darick Gallhager, the Invisible Man, known for their tequila and "dames." After being hired to kill the Invisible Man, mercenary Agent X first visited the Jose Lopez, roughing up the restaurant employees in an attempt to find the Invisible Man.

Sigusmundo

Sigusmundo was the owner of Sigusmundo's Italian restaurant in the Little Italy section of New York. After learning that the Invisible Man frequented Sigusmundo's restaurant, the mercenary Agent X, who been hired to kill the Invisible Man, roughed up Sigusmundo, whom he nicknamed "Siggy." In an effort to force information out of Sigusmundo, Agent X placed him inside one of the restaurant's large ovens and when the Invisible Man spoke, revealing his presence, Agent X threatened to cook Sigusmundo if the Invisible Man did not surrender. Agent X then turned on the oven but the Invisible Man fled into the alleyway. Moments later, Sigusmundo emerged from the restaurant on fire and ran down the alleyway screaming. Noticing that Sigusmundo did not bump into the Invisible Man while running down the alleyway, Agent X deduced that the Invisible Man must be somewhere else. Yelling for water to put himself out, Sigusmundo ultimately ran into the path of an oncoming car and was hit, a bystander yelling that the "Human Torch" had just been hit by a car.

Sigusmundo's

Sigusmundo's was an Italian restaurant owned by a man named (surprise!) Sigusmundo. After learning that the Invisible Man frequented Sigusmundo's on a daily basis, the mercenary Agent X, who had hired to kill the Invisible Man, visited Sigusmundo's and roughed up their employees in an attempt to find the Invisible Man. During the interrogation, Agent X stuffed restaurant owner Sigusmundo into one of the restaurant's oven, which eventually set him on fire.

Yetti Apparel

Yetti Apparel was a clothing store visited by Agent X and the captive Invisible Man, where Agent X forced the Invisible Man to put on a dress so he could keep up with the Invisible Man's location.
