She may or may not have possessed some degree of superhuman durability, enhanced healing, speed, agility, etc. As her father was a police officer, it would seem likely that she was experienced in self-defense and/or perhaps some forms of martial arts. She carried a handgun, with
which she had some level of experience and skill. She rode a 1950 Harley Davidson custom-chromed Fat Boy, and she was an experienced motorcycle rider. Hellion had the balance and agility to briefly stand on her Harley's seat, facing backwards while riding at high speeds, and to fire her handgun, with presumable proficiency. . Height: Unrevealed (she was not noted to be excessively short nor tall, so perhaps 5'5" to 5'8")Weight: Unrevealed (perhaps 115 to 135 lbs.) Eyes: Unrevealed Hair: Black (or dark brown) . History: Comments: Created by Stan Lee, Marv Wolfman and Leo Durana. Hellion was intended to be
part of the Stan Lee-created Excelsior line circa 1996, which
never
actually came out. Stan specifically wanted to include a female headliner, and he had originally chosen to write Hellion himself, but he eventually appreciated that he didn't have the time to do so, and so Marv Wolfman was piped in to script the series. More information on Excelsior Comics is included in Omega's profile, and you can check out Comic Book Creators#33 for a lot more information! With Stan
Lee
and Leo Durana both having passed on, and with Marv Wolfman not
remembering anything about the character when I asked him, the
information provided by Roy for Comic Book Creators#33 is likely all we are ever going to get on
Hellion. I feel like Roy must have a copy of the Excelsior
handbook... While the characters are most likely alternate reality, having been intended to be apart from the Marvel Universe, there's really not any reason they could not have existed in Reality-616 in the mid-1990s, which given the sliding timescale, would have taken place over 20 years (as of 2025, and counting) before the Fantastic Four's spaceflight. It would be cool if legal issues ever allowed Marvel to adapt the characters to some sort of "Lost Generation" story, covering the next few decades after the end of the First Line. Major kudos to Loki for
tracking down the article in Comic Book
Creator#33. This
profile was completed 10/25/2025, but its publication was
delayed as it was intended for the Appendix 25th
anniversary 's celebratory event. Profile by Snood. |
