History:
(Angel: Revelations#4 - BTS) -
Amanda Cobb was the daughter of a wealthy New Yorker, believing her
father pretty much owned the island of Manhattan.
(Angel: Revelations#1 - BTS) - The feisty young Amanda was send to attend the catholic St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Vermont. Becoming a popular cheerleader, Amanda became romantically involved with Warren Worthington III much to the irritation of Warren's classmate and rival Brandon Hardy who dated Tricia. The snarky Amanda, however, took an instant disliking to Warren's roommate, the timid Andrew Palmer.
(Angel: Revelations#1 (fb) - BTS) - Over some time, Amanda felt Warren had been deliberately avoiding her, unaware Warren believed he was dying; in reality Warren had begun manifesting his mutant abilities causing his body to drastically change.
(Angel: Revelations#1) - Amanda was present during the morning service of the catholic St. Joseph's school when she asked Andrew if he knew where Warren had been. As the duo squabbled, they were rebuked by Father Jerome Reynolds. However after the service had ended she shoved Andrew from the stairs after seeing Warren outside. Marching towards her boyfriend, the hostile Amanda bombarded Warren with questions.
(Angel: Revelations#2) - Warren and Amanda enjoyed
each other's company in the girls' dormitory. But when Warren took off
his shirt Amanda was shocked to see what she believed to be large welts
over his scapulae (shoulder blades). Warren quickly dressed himself
while giving false explanations, however, when Amanda pushed on, Warren
ended their relationship, noting he'd been moody while trying to figure
out how to end things.
Angered and upset, Amanda sought out Warren's rival
Brandon Hardy to get her revenge on Warren. As it was the day of Hell
Night at St. Joe where seniors would haze underclassmen, Hardy would
terrorize Warren's roommate, Andrew, in exchange for Amanda becoming
his boyfriend. That very night all dressed up, Hardy and his friends
terrorized Andrew until Warren saved his friend, punching Hardy in the
face. Sometime later that night Amanda visited Hardy in his dorm, with
Hardy complaining that Warren had actually hit him.
(Angel: Revelations#3) - When all students prepared to return home for Christmas, Amanda said her goodbyes to Hardy who, as son of the vice-president, was picked up by his father's security detail. While standing in the snow, Hardy mentioned he didn't see Warren pack his bags, prompting Amanda to note she didn't interact with him any longer since they'd started dating. She then urged Hardy to stop fixating over Warren so much.
(Angel: Revelations#4 - BTS) - Amanda and the other students returned to their classes after the holidays.
(Angel: Revelations#4) - Just before Easter, Amanda
and the other students of St. Joseph's witnessed the arrest of Father
Jerome Reynolds who'd turned himself in for molesting several of the
school's students, amongst them Andrew Palmer. While standing on the
school's stairs Hardy challenged Palmer, calling him a fruit and a
fairy which lead to an all-out school brawl. During the brawl, Amanda
hit Warren in the face after he'd try to shove her away. Identified as
the instigators of the fight, Amanda, Hardy, Palmer and Warren had to
appear before Headmaster Father Gavin and they were punished
via weekend detention, thus forcing them to stay on campus for
Easter.
While all other students left the school for
Easter, Amanda and the boys were forced to spend detention with the
young Jesuit scholastic Matthew Zampelli acting as their "warden." The
students, however, were unaware a dangerous zealot and his mutant
prisoner, the precognitive Mary Margaret, had targeted Warren on his
quest to eradicate the world of mutants.
When a sudden muffled boom was heard from somewhere
within the building, prompting Zampelli to leave and investigate,
Warren was telepathically warned by the precognitive Mary Margaret they
were in grave danger.
Warren's unusual behavior sparked yet another heated argument with Amanda and Hardy after which Warren revealed his now grown wings. Amanda and Hardy had little time to be shocked and amazed at the sight as the school's sprinklers came on, Amanda quickly realized the building was on fire courtesy of the dangerous zealot. Looking from the window, Amanda saw Zampelli had been burned alive and sought comfort in Hardy's arm.
Determined to save his fellow students, Warren lead them to the roof of the school's building after which he grabbed and flew away with them. However, unable to fully carry the weight Warren was quickly forced to hit the ground, leaving Andrew injured. Just as Amanda and the others recovered from the fall they noticed the religious zealot pointing a shotgun at them.
(Angel: Revelations#5) - Right as the religious zealot was about to kill Warren, Mary Margaret jumped at her kidnapper causing him to miss. Hardy then jumped the man and ordered Warren to take Amanda and Andrew to safety, leading them further into the woods. Amanda, however, feisty as ever wanted to join Warren as he took on the zealot, but after she was almost shot in the face she wised up and hid away.
But when
Warren had successfully defeated the zealot, the religious madman let
go of Warren while high up in the air, falling to his death just as
Amanda had located Mary Margaret, keeping the young mutant safe. With
the threat at hand dealt with Amanda jumped Hardy when he appeared to
have survived the ordeal and passionately kissed him. With St. Joseph's
going up in flames, Amanda, Andrew and Brandon Hardy vowed to keep
Warren's mutant nature a secret.
Later that year Amanda, Brandon Hardy and Warren graduated
St. Joseph's.

Other former girlfriends of Angel include Candy Southern, Betsy Braddock, Husk, Laura Kinney (during his time-displacement) and the odd love triangle with Cyclops and Jean Grey as teenagers.
Angel: Revelations was a series with the Marvel Knights imprint that details Warren's teenage days at a boarding school. Honestly it's a rather dark book that would best be described as what would happen if Tim Burton took on the X-Men.
