History:

(Angel: Revelations#1 - BTS) - Father Jerome Reynolds was a teacher at the catholic St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Vermont.

(Angel: Revelations#4 (fb) - BTS) - Father Reynolds ran the St. Joe's campus ministry program and taught freshman theology. Reynolds was employed at the school for two decades. During this time Reynolds sexually molested several of the school's freshmen amongst them was the timid Andrew Palmer.

(Angel: Revelations#2 (fb) - BTS) - Reynold would hold weekly confessions with Andrew, presumably molesting the boy during those moments.

(Angel: Revelations#1) - Present during the morning service of the catholic school Reynolds noticed Andrew squabbling with Amanda Palmer and rebuked them.

(Angel: Revelations#2) - Father Reynolds approached the young Andrew, who was sweeping the school's backoffices and told him the time had come for their weekly confessions. Visibly uncomfortable, Andrew tried to get out of it prompting the predator to explain he had nothing but love in his heart for the boy. Reynold went on to instill the fact Andrew should've been proud to have him as his confessor and expected to see some gratitude, Andrew once again accepted his faith.

(Angel: Revelations#3) - While most student returned home for Christmas, Andrew Palmer and his good friend Warren Worthington III stayed behind. Father Reynolds approached the boys in the dining hall addressing Andrew's sniffles, wondering if they'd prohibit him from serving at the Christmas Vespers that evening. Taken back by his sudden appearance, Andrew began to stutter while Reynold continued to express he'd been extremely keen on spending time with the boy for some devout contemplation. Sensing foul play, Warren quickly intervened, asking if he too could help with Vespers. Irked, Reynolds agreed, noting there was room in God's heart for all his children. Just as Reynold walked away, the young Andrew Palmer broke down and revealed what had happened to him to Warren.

(Angel: Revelations#4 - BTS) - Determined to stop Father Reynolds, Warren's first thoughts were to see headmaster Father Gavin, but fearing he could turn a blind eye due to their friendship Warren decided to take matter into his own hands.

(Angel: Revelations#4) - Father Reynolds visited the school's house of worship to confess his sins in silence when suddenly Michael the Archangel (Warren in disguise) appeared before him with his almighty wings and sword, all while Andrew Palmer used stage-lighting to make it appear as if the angel had descended from the heavens. Shocked by the heavenly sight Reynolds immediately pleaded for mercy to repent all of his sins. As such, Warren easily convinced Reynolds to follow his commands and confess his sins to the headmaster Father Gavin and would call the police to turn himself in.

Fearing the heavenly vengeance, Reynolds did as he was told and confessed his sins before headmaster Father Gavin after which he indeed called the police to turn himself in. The students of St. Joseph's witnessed the arrest of Father Reynolds.

Comments: Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Adam Pollina.

Angel: Revelations was a series with the Marvel Knights imprint that details Warren's teenage days at a boarding school. Honestly it's a rather dark book that would best be described as what would happen if Tim Burton took on the X-Men.
