Powers/Abilities: As a vampire, Bruxal had superhuman strength (likely lifting around 1000 lbs.) and required regular blood meals to survive.

    Further, feeding on a human victim would turn that victim into a vampire, depending on the extent of the feeding and other circumstances.

    Those she vampirized may or may not have been subservient to her.

    She presumably had a vulnerability to a wooden stake through the heart, and the other standard vampire vulnerabilities, such as to sunlight, religious icons, garlic, and silver.

    Dracula was powerful enough to apparently slay her.

    When fully fed, she could likely heal rapidly from non-fatal wounds.

    She may or may not have been able to transform into a normal-sized or giant bat or into a wolf or mist.

    A witch, she had some magical ability, generating a blood-transmitted virus that involved a fomr of demonic possession that transformed a monster victim into a savage state under her control.
    However, she was not able to complete the virus into a functional form without the expert guidance of Michael Morbius

History:
(Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb) - BTS) <Per Dracula's account> - Bruxal was an ancient vampire witch, black-hearted and power-obsessed in ways that even Dracula could never comprehend.

    Bruxal allegedly spent five centuries torturing succubi in the outer reaches of Hell to concoct a virus that was a form of demonic possession that left the victims under her control.

    However, when she tried to wield it, she found that virus worked too quickly, and she was unable to keep her subjects alive long enough to build her monster army.

(Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb) - BTS) <Per Dracula's account; circa 10-12 years ago> - Eventually, Bruxal discovered the scientifically-created, somewhat hideously deformed, "living vampire" Dr. Michael Morbius, who had an expertise in supernatural medicine.

    Presumably seeing Morbius' weakness for pretty young doctors who did not run from him, Bruxal adopted the identity of Susanna.

(Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb) - BTS) - At some point, Susanna (at least allegedly a doctor of some degree) established Rockhaven Vampire Community, just south of Angel Grove, California.

    Susanna sent a letter to Morbius, telling him of the virus plaguing her society of pacifistic vampires.

    Interested in saving one of the only places on Earth where he was not a monster but a doctor, Morbius traveled there to meet Susanna.

(Legion of Monsters II#2 (fb)) - An associate of Susanna's introduced Morbius to her, and they examined some victims of the virus. 

(Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb)) - Susanna showed Morbius a victim of the virus, noting that he had been fine four days ago but had manifested aggression and catatonia in the past 72 hours, just like the rest of the victims.

    Morbius considered that it was although the virus attacked their very humanity, reducing the afflicted to their most primal vampiric state.

    Susanna further showed Morbius her vampire community, explaining that they did not believe in violence against humans, she explained that they had a variety of alternate blood source from which he could choose.

    She further told Morbius that while their way of life was not very popular with the ruling class, they had been able to make it work.

    Susanna further told Morbius about the virus that threatened to bring down her society, and he vowed to fight to his dying breath to preserve it.

(Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb) - BTS) - Morbius treated one of the afflicted, who seemed to be responding well to his new treatments until he abruptly died.

(Legion of Monsters II#2 (fb) / Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb)) - After performing an autopsy, Morbius expressed frustration, positing that it was like the virus knew what they were going to do and then preempted them.

(Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb)) - Susanna told Morbius that he had done all he could, and she embraced him, telling him that everything always made more sense in the morning.

(Legion of Monsters II#2 (fb) / Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb)) - However, the next morning he found some of the afflicted seemingly still catatonic but apparently sleepwalking.

    Following them toward a flaming pit, he observed 400 monstrous creatures feeding on and tearing limb-from-limb the community's peaceful inhabitants as well as the human residents while a distant, shadowed figure (Susanna?) laughed manically, a shrill laugh, mixing with the screams of the victims and bouncing off of the canyon walls.

(Legion of Monsters II#3 (fb)) - When they were finished, the afflicted lumbered back to the treatment facility in a line where they mindlessly rinsed the gore from their hands and faces before returning to their sick beds and securing their own restraints.

    Morbius prepared to stake these monstrous creatures, but Susanna convinced him that it was not their fault and that there was still a chance to save them.

    She advised him to sleep on the decision.

(Legion of Monsters II#2 (fb) - BTS) - 5000 human perished in Angel Grove over two days of such attacks.
