Powers/Abilities: The metallic body of Recorder 3B02 was a perfect facsimile of a young human woman. She appeared sleek and sophisticated compared to other technology, with only the metallic elements revealing her as synthetic. She was lithe and compact, with precision instruments that helped her avoid collisions in tight spaces. She had a built-in grappling line and could fly by using her boost rockets, though she kept that ability secret. She was nimble enough to ride Earth horses.

Her derma circuits and sensitizers accurately recorded all that transpired. Like all Rigellian recorders, her perceptions were calibrated to render empirical truth with a 0.001 nanodegree margin of error. Programmed to record everything at all times, Recorder 3B02 possessed over 1,000 recording functions, which included audio, visual, heat and chemical signatures, as well as localized digital and radio transmissions. Her recording sensitivity allowed her to detect room-volume conversations dozens of meters away. She could easily monitor 100 conversations simultaneously, including those inside buildings, using aural filters to separate out different conversations. She could render accurate medical diagnosis from a distance and perform DNA analysis from samples as small as bits of saliva. Her toolset also included seismographic sensors and a Geiger counter. She possessed a communication relay, but it had been remotely deactivated by her Rigellian masters.

Recorder 3B02 possessed great strength, durability, and technical skills; she was capable of hacking Earth broadcast systems, security, and other technology. She had a gripping force of 4,000 PSI and could easily lift 1,000 pounds in weight above her head. Wave dampeners protected her from sound-based attacks. Her offensive systems consisted of a flamethrower and laser guns that could vaporize a human with a single blast.

Recorder 3B02 did not experience fear, but if her safety was threatened, her programming allowed her to terminate the assailants. However, if those around her were threatened, that same programming dictated that she must stand as witness. To better blend in and avoid causing offense, her programming allowed Recorder 3B02 to observe and mimic societal codes. Her algorithm allowed Recorder 3B02 to respond to humans by constantly learning and adapting to their speech patterns. For example, with Rocket and Star-Lord, she would occasionally make attempts at humor in a confrontational fashion. She had over a million languages in her database but found English among the most challenging due to its heavy reliance on metaphors.

Height: A little over 5'5''
Weight: Unrevealed (approximately 250 lbs.)
Eyes: Green (blue when amplifying recording sensitivity; deep violet when using seismographic sensors)
Hair: None

History: (Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 10: Dawn and Doom" (fb) - BTS) - Recorder 3B02 was an instrument of Rigellian colonizers, tasked with surveying worlds for possible domination and the ultimate extraction of resources by the Rigellian Empire.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 4: Deer on a Spear" (fb) - BTS) - After completing her assignment on Siege Centauri, a planet in the Alpha Centauri system, Recorder 3B02 was given Earth as her next assignment.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 10: Dawn and Doom" (fb) - BTS) - The Rigellian Empire ordered Recorder 3B02 to ally with one of the three most powerful people on planet Earth: Baron Zemo, the Red Skull, or Victor von Doom.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 1: Record of a Fallen World" (fb) - BTS) - Recorder 3B02 boarded Prosperity, an asteroid mining freighter owned by Stark Industries that was bound to head back to Earth. The Prosperity was mining asteroids along the outskirts of Alpha Centauri when it accidentially loaded in a hive of Brood, who proceed to kill everyone onboard. As a synthetic, Recorder 3B02 was ignored by the Brood, and she spent her time sitting, standing, and lying on the floor while continuing to record. She remained aboard the freighter for 32 years, 26 days and 5 hours, during which time the Rigellians listed her as lost and cut off her communication relay.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 1: Record of a Fallen World") - Recorder 3B02 was discovered by Peter Quill and Rocket who boarded the derelict freighter after responding to its emergency beacon. After she answered their immediate questions, Quill told her that he and Rocket were hired to locate and retrieve the Black Vortex by the Collector (an alien female, successor to the Elder of the Universe), who fitted them with adamantium guillotine collars that would cut off their necks in one week's time. Quill was unable to remotely pilot his ship, the Milano, to their rescue, and Recorded 3B02 offered to function as the relay for a remote-pilot link, projecting a holographic command station for Quill to use. The Brood broke through, and after a brief firefight Star-Lord, Rocket, and the Recorder escaped aboard the Milano and headed for Earth. Quill gave the Recorder the name "Cora", and she decided that she liked it. On approach to Earth, an orbital ring of satellites opened fire on Milano, causing the ship to crash in the former South Dakota. On impact, Cora was flung out of the ship and was partially buried.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 2: The Wastelands" (fb) - Cora sustained damage and was nonresponsive, as her systems were compromised. Rocket argued for leaving her behind, but Quill refused and strapped her to an emergency evac sled which survived the crash. Over the next few hours, Quill dragged the sled to Outpost 13 (formerly Rockerville). While Quill went to get help, Rocket ran a diagnostic scan on Cora, then dug up old electronics from a junkyard and pirated their metals to get Cora running again. Meanwhile, Quill befriended a local named Red Crotter.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 2: The Wastelands") - Red Crotter took Star-Lord, Rocket, and Cora to his farm in his pickup truck. Fearing pursuit, Crotter refused to stop, and Cora used her seismographic sensors to determine that they were indeed being followed, but not the by men Crotter feared. Crotter explained that what used to be the Midwest and the Great Plains was now called the Wastelands, run by Doom from Doomwood (formerly Deadwood). Cora found the description of Doom to be fascinating and expressed a desire to meet him. Quill gave Crotter an exaggerated version of his recent exploits, and when Rocket called him out on, Cora asserted that even inaccurate, prejudiced, and wholly fabricated records were important to consider. Cora then picked up a broadcast that branded Quill and Crotter as wanted fugitives.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 3: Blood Farmer") - They reached Red Crotter's farm, where Quill explained that he and Rocket had to get to Doomwood, toward which their map to the Black Vortex was pointing. Crotter took Cora aside and, trusting that she could recall in case Quill forgot, told her that in Doomwood they needed to find his contact, Sebastian Warn. Cora's seismographic sensors indicated horses approaching, and the group barricaded inside the house, where Cora helped them eavesdrop on their attackers. A brief firefight ensued, in which the five attackers were all wounded and fled. Cora noticed that Rocket was coughing up blood despite not being injured during the fight, but Rocket made Cora promise not to tell Quill about his terminal condition. Star-Lord, Rocket, and Cora headed to Doomwood on horseback.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 4: Deer on a Spear") - Quill probed Cora about her actitives on Siege Centauri, deducing that she had been a scout for the Rigellian colonizers. Cora insisted that the Rigellian Empire was good-willed and altruistic in its efforts to share its resources with the galaxy. Quill remained skeptical, and Cora pointed at how badly the Earth had fared without the oversight of a benevolent power. Rocket went to scout ahead, and Cora noted that both he and Quill were more serious when not in each other's company. They came across rotting bodies staked to trees, the work of Kraven the Hunter. Cora picked up and played a local radio transmission of a live sports betting game, in which a man called Brandon Best narrated how Kraven was stalking his latest prey, the terrorist Sebastian Warn. Quill flew with his rocket boosts to their contact's location but failed to save him. Returning to Rocket and Cora, Quill conceived of a new plan and told Cora to head into the town, find a bar, and listen for potential enemies and allies. Cora headed for Doomwood's largest and most popular establishment, the Heaven and Hellfire club.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 5: Heaven and Hellfire" (fb)) - Cora made her way through the Heaven and Hellfire's crowd, learning that the club was owned by the White Queen, who, after one hour, invited Cora to meet her. From her quarters on the top floor, the White Queen offered Cora a view of Doomwood, adding that the already sad scene did not show the even worse horrors that were happening out of sight. The White Queen noted that Cora was the only non-Doombot robot for thousands of miles and demanded to know why she had come to her club. Cora replied that one of her core directives was to align with the powerful, and that Emma Frost appeared to be one of the most powerful people in Doomwood.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 5: Heaven and Hellfire") - Cora returned to meet Star-Lord and Rocket at the rendezvous point, where she picked a transmission from Doombots who had located the Milano. She was followed by Emma's man named Rick, who led the three to a secret entrance into the cellar of Heaven and Hellfire. Emma Frost waited for them and used her power to compel Quill to give her the map to the Black Vortex but found the map incomplete and was interrupted by the news that Kraven wanted to talk to her. After Frost left, Cora explained to others that she was part of the Second Dawn, an underground resistance movement against Doom. Rocket refused to trust Frost, so Cora let them eavesdrop on her conversation with Kraven above, in which Emma claimed to know nothing about Quill.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 6: Trust Exercise") - After Kraven left, Frost moved her guests to her quarters. From the window, they watched a crowd gather in support of the Second Dawn, and a single Doombot showing up and massacring everyone. Motivated to action, Quill and Rocket escaped, while Cora stayed behind. The White Queen worried that Quill and Rocket would expose her ties to the Second Dawn, and Cora deduced that Frost did not anticipate their escape because her mental power was occupied projecting a youthful appearance of herself to every living soul, a category Cora did not belong to. Cora explained that to allow Rocket and Quill to move freely, Frost had to call Kraven back to the club, as another broadcast from Brandon Best declared Quill to be Kraven's next target. Frost's ally Joanna Forge found Rocket and brought him back. Cora was fascinated by Forge's cybernetic enhancements and sought to learn more about them. Cora told Rocket that Quill would want to know that his best friend was dying, but Rocket insisted on keeping it secret. The White Queen summoned Cora and told her how she had made Kraven relive his most shameful childhood memory from to buy them time.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 7: Catching Fire") - Joanna Forge inserted a transponder into Cora's internal organ hub to track her movements and then left with Rocket to remove his guillotine collar. Cora easily reversed Forge's transponder to track the woman's movements instead. Quill returned and revealed his intention to submit to the Black Vortex and use its power to take down Doom. Quill had learned that the rest of the map was inside Doom's compound and proposed to hack a Doombot to get there. Emma Frost had a man called Johnny Loomis guide Quill and Cora into the mining tunnels where they set up an EMP trap, careful to keep Cora far outside of its blast radius. A patrolling Doombot walked into and activated the trap, but before shutting down it activated an emergency protocol and flooded the tunnel with electrical discharge, causing a cave-in.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 8: Buried") - Joanna Forge and Rocket used Cora's transponder to locate and dig her up. Cora was damaged but functional, and they proceeded to dig up Quill. Forge used her vibranium laser saw to remove Quill's quillotine collar collar, and back on the surface, Quill's near-death experience made him confess to Cora that he blamed himself for the deaths of the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy. They recovered the Doombot, and Rocket was able to hack it, remotely piloting it into Doom's compound. The Doombot was discovered, and the connection severed, but Cora managed to pick up an image with the coordinates and the words "Slaughter Lords," the name of the crew of Star-Lord's late father, J'son. Cora led Quill and Rocket to the Mount Moriah Cemetery, where the gravestone of "Mister Knife" was a hidden door to the Slaughter Lords' hideout. Cora picked up a lower-powered, short-range transmission and hacked the door but stayed back while Rocket and Quill went inside. The door closed behind them, and Cora was held at knifepoint by Kraven the Hunter, who had been tracking them with intention of claiming the Black Vortex for himself.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 9: Kraven's Hunt" (fb)) - Kraven carved the surveillance tracker out of Cora's body and waited outside, recognizing the sound of the trap that Rocket and Star-Lord walked into. Kraven waited for the gas to clear, then opened the grave again and ordered Cora down first. They found Star-Lord and Rocket unconscious, and Kraven bound the three of them with metal wire. Cora watched as Kraven found and broke into a safe, finding inside not the Black Vortex but another map; J'Son and the Slaughter Lords had retrieved the Black Vortex for the Collector, but decided to keep it for themselves. The map showed that the Black Vortex was at the core of the Chamberlin nuclear reactor that has been poisoning the surrounding area. Desiring to become the ultimate weapon, Kraven made Star-Lord and Rocket race him for the Black Vortex in a grand broadcast show, while Cora was sent back to White Queen as she did not factor into his plans.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 9: Kraven's Hunt") - With her role in the Second Dawn exposed, the White Queen wondered why she was still alive, and Cora pointed out that Kraven did not share Doom's agenda. Frost engaged the Second Dawn forces to help Star-Lord and Rocket and tasked Cora with overriding Brandon Best's broadcast. It took Cora considerable time, but she managed to isolate the frequency that connected her to the drone network. She subsequently broadcast a recall signal to the drones within range, and Joanna Forge downed one of the drones with a net cannon so that it could be hacked directly.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 10: Dawn and Doom") - Gaining access to the drone's systems, Cora fully took over Brandon Best's propaganda network. Interrupting his transmission, Cora presented Emma Frost, who explained to the people of Doomwod what was inside the Chamberlin reactor and what would their fate be if Kraven were to acquire the Black Vortex.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 10: Dawn and Doom" - BTS) - Cora and the others watched as Quill and Rocket faced Kraven at the heart of the reactor. Kraven killed Rocket and reached the Black Vortex, but instead of sumbitting to it, he tried to dominate it and was obliterated by its power. The Collector showed up and took the Black Vortex. The people of Doomwood rose up and marched to Doom's stronghold. The Doombot frequency had been disabled by the drone hack and, facing no resistance, the mob stormed the stronghold to find "Doom" waiting on his throne. Beneath Doom's mask, the mob found Brandon Best and lynched him outside.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Star-Lord podcast episode "Chapter 10: Dawn and Doom") - Cora realized that all was not what it seemed and quietly left during the celebration at the Heaven and Hellfire. She returned to the ruins of Doom's compound, where she picked up a morse code call for help. In a cell beneath the throne, Cora found the real Victor von Doomand  freed him of his power inhibitor. Doom told Cora that after he was injured by the Hulk, his press secretary Brandon Best had stolen his mask and identity. Cora expressed her true purpose on Earth, explaning that Star-Lord was a means for her to get to Lord Doom, so that she could be his assistant and chronicler and to ready Earth for the coming invasion.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 2: A Fantastic Four" (fb) - BTS) - Doom and Recorder departed from Doomwood to avoid telepathic detection by Emma Frost.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 1: A Superhero Walks into a Bar" (fb) - BTS) - Finding Recorder's syntax apalling, Doom performed upgrades to her communication circuits to make her speech less sarcastic and more formal, which Recorder found potentially restrictive. Recorder 3B02 used Victor von Doom to assist her in surveying the state of Earth, even constructing for him a makeshift suit of armor. In return for Doom's guidance, her vast strength, durability, and technical skills aided Doom in his diminished state.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 1: A Superhero Walks into a Bar") - Doom and Recorder went to have an audience with the Inhuman Maximus the Mad, who had set up his base inside a nuclear missile silo. As Doom was believed to be dead, the gate sentry refused to let them pass and threatened to open fire, prompting Recorder to use her lasers with lethal force. Dismissing Recorder, Maximus was interested in Doom's offer of alliance but decided against it and used a trap door to drop the two into underground tunnels filled with bestial subhumans. Recorder was damaged upon impact but quickly effected repairs to the to circuitry in her left knee. Doom ordered Recorder to find directions to the nuclear warheads and disable all surveillance, alarms, and automated defenses along their way. They climbed up to the missile storage, where Recorder scanned a missile for weaknesse, with extra care not to damage the primitive magnetic disc. Doom wanted to permanently deactivate the missiles, but the subhumans chased them and swarmed the room. Recorder fired a grappling line through the ceiling, grabbed Doom, and lifted them back into Maximus' room. They found him cuffed to his own throne by Valeria Richards, whom Doom was shocked to see still alive. Doom wanted to kill Maximus for the transgression, and Valeria tried to stop him, only for her companion Johnny Claymore to shoot Maximus himself. Leaderless, the subhumans chased after the intruders.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 10: I Am a God" (fb) - BTS) - Unbeknownst to others, Recorder took the remote activation trigger from Maximus' missile silo and hid it inside her chest cavity.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 2: A Fantastic Four") - Doom, Recorder, Valeria, and Johnny ran towards Valeria's FantastiCar. Recorder noted that Doom's replacement armor was severely damaged from the earlier fall, and that he had torn the quadriceps tendon of his right leg. Johnny helped Doom to the FantastiCar, and they took off. Recorder's diagnostic showed that Doom's heart rate was slower than average. Recorder started to explain Doom's objective to others, but he ordered her to stop. The subhumans, capable of flight, were still in pursuit, and Valeria swerved the FantastiCar so that they splattered over it, but this caused the FantastiCar to crash.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 3: Mask-less") - Recorder was damaged in the crash, and Doom used magic to repair her. Doom then noticed that Valeria had emerged from the crash unscathed, which together with her youthful look clued him that she had regenerative powers. Recorder was told to stay behind and guard the FantastiCar while the others went into the nearby town. Recorder tried to protest that she had to stay close to Lord Doom to document his actions, but the others assured her that they would be back soon.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 4: Destructive Interference") - Refusing to stay behind, Recorder followed Doom from a distance but was captured by men working for Klaw and taken to the weapon room inside his compound; she was intended to be sold. Doom, who had his own business with Klaw, used Valeria's invisibility cloak to neutralize the guards and freed Recorder. Inside Klaw's weapon room, Doom found the coma cannon, a device made by Reed Richards that created a series of brain seizures resulting in lengthy unconsciousness. Doom fired the coma cannon at Recorder as a test; she was unaffected but confirmed that had she possessed a human circulatory system, she would be incapacitated by it. The ruckus caused Doom and Recorder to be discovered and taken to Klaw alongside Valeria and Johnny, who had also been taken prisoner. Doom sold Valeria to Klaw, and she was to be sent to Kingpin on the Pacific Cost in exchange for the late Red Skull's notebook. Klaw ordered Recorder and Johhny to be taken as well. Recorder protested her separation from Doom, who claimed to have intended to sell her all along. The three of them were placed on a horse carriage, but Valeria tricked their escort into shooting Recorder in the leg. This triggered her defense protocols, and she vaporized her attacker in response. They returned to Klaw's compound to find that Doom had killed Klaw and released all of his prisoners to distract the guards. Doom revealed that what he was confident that Valeria and others would find a way to escape and that what he sought was in the Negative Zone. The party of four departed on horseback.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 5: Truth Serum") - Valeria led the group to her ranch in former Texas, where Johnny used parts from a life-model decoy matrix to repair Recorder, correcting considerable damage to her systems. Valeria had in her collection many artifacts from the heroic age, all of which Recorder found worthless. When the two of them were left alone, Recorder noted that Johhny Claymore had developed feelings for Valeria. She stayed behind while the humans went inside Valeria's house for dinner, where Valeria presented Doom with a new mask.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 6: Thunder Sandstorm" - BTS) - That night, Doom had a dream in which he obtained the Cosmic Cube and killed Valeria Richards, Johnny Claymore, and Recorder with it (mirroring Reality-42123).

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 6: Thunder Sandstorm") - Doom had revealed to others that he was going to the Negative Zone to find the Cosmic Cube, with which he would create a perfect world. Valeria and Johnny decided to accompany him; Doom tried to object, but Recorder noted that they had saved Doom multiple times during this trip. Valeria rolled out her Avengers quinjet, and Recorder helped her in booting up its systems. They headed for the nearest portal to the Negative Zone, and along the way Johnny pressed Recorder about her mission and what would happen if her Rigellian masters came into conflict with Doom; Recorder avoided giving a direct answer. Upon reaching the portal, they found it guarded by Sandman, working for Kingpin who was already in the Negative Zone to claim the Cosmic Cube for himself. Recorder noted that Sandman had a tactical advantage in the desert landscape battle and concluded that their probability of victory was low, but Doom used magic to summon lightning. It struck Sandman and turned his body into glass, which Recorder found impressive. The group headed into the Negative Zone.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 7: King of the Negative Zone") - Inside the Negative Zone, they were attacked by a bear-snake creature and ran away from it and into Kingpin. The host of the Shadow King and now possessing the Cosmic Cube, Kingpin shot Doom, whom Recorder estimated had less than 4 minutes to live. Kingpin revealed that his arrangement with the Shadow King was temporary, as in exchange for the Cosmic Cube he had helped the Shadow King find a more suitable host: Valeria Richards. She agreed to let the Shadow King possess her, in exchange asking Kingpin to use the Cosmic Cube to heal Doom. Kingpin did so, but Doom then lunged at him, and Kingpin used the Cosmic Cube to teleport himself and Doom out of the Negative Zone.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 8: Tee Off") - Valeria, Johnny and Recorder returned to Valeria's ranch to regroup. Recorder used a tracking device implanted in Doom's mask by Valeria to locate him inside the Hulkland territory on the West Coast, and the trio flew there in Quinjet. They made a stop in Hammer Falls to visit Johnny's home, where Valeria asked Recorder to give her and Johnny some privacy.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 9: Getting Angry") - Landing in the irradiated Hulkland territory, Valeria, Johnny, and Recorder headed towards Doom's signal. Johnny continued pressing Recorder about her allegiance to Victor, whom she always addressed by the honorific "Lord Doom," but Recorder stated that she was merely observing the powerful, soon-to-be ruler of the planet. They found Doom in the middle of confrontation with the Hulk and She-Hulk, who took Johnny hostage. A standoff ensued, and Valeria killed She-Hulk, while Hulk killed Johnny. Hulk then seized the Cosmic Cube, at which point Recorder abandoned Doom and shifted her allegiance to Hulk, now the most powerful being on the planet.

(Marvel's Wastelanders: Doom podcast episode "Chapter 10: I Am a strength") - Hulk used the Cosmic Cube to further increase his own power, but Doom knocked him out with the coma cannon. Doom began fusing the Cosmic Cube with his mask, but Hulk got back up and punched the Cube, compromising its stability. Recorder noted that the leaking energy of the Cosmic Cube gave Hulk's entire body fourth-degree burns. Doom handed the Cube over to Recorder, confident that the machine could not use it, while he gave the Hulk a mercy kill.

The battle between Doom and the Hulk provided the final data that Recorder 3B02 required, leading her to determine that even the most powerful people on Earth were unworthy to further its history. She declared all Earthlings identical, selfish in their goals, which would eventually cause their own demise. In the name of her distant masters, Recorder 3B02 initiated directive SWB100804 to begin cleansing the world in preparation for Rigellian acquisition. She activated the apparatus from Maximus' missile silo and launched the multitude of LGM-30 Minuteman ICBMs at their location, confident that she could use her booster rockets to escape to a safe distance. Valeria hit Recorder with a hypersonic blast to shake the Cosmic Cube loose from her hands, but Recorder's wave dampeners protected her. Valeria readied the Executioner's Axe, and Recorder armed her lasers, confident that she could keep the immortal at bay. Valeria then produced Captain America's shield and used it to block Recorder's fire. Valeria charged Recorder and sliced off her arm with the shield, then pinned her down and delivered a killing blow. Just minutes later, the nuclear missiles struck the site and obliterated Recorder's body.

(Marvel's Wastelanders podcast episode "Chapter 4: Marvels" - BTS) - Doctor Doom and Star-Lord met and talked about their respective travels with Recorder.

(Marvel's Wastelanders podcast episode "Chapter 7: Fractures" - BTS) - Star-Lord grabbed the Cosmic Cube and entered a representation of his subconsciousness, where he encountered a manifestation of Cora. She told Star-Lord that their entire time together she was using him to further her own goals. Quill found that hurtful, and Cora's manifestation then showed to him the memory of Rocket's death.

Cora is a character in the interconnected series of Marvel's Wastelanders drama podcasts, portrayed by actor Nadine Malouf. Benjamin Percy revealed in an interview published on Marvel.com that he created Cora to act as the audience surrogate in an unfamiliar world, where things needed to be explained to her, and by extension the audience.

The series is intended to take place 30 years after "V-Day," which is the day of the villains' uprising.

The first podcast in the series was originally released as "Marvel's Wastelanders: Old Man Star-Lord" but was retitled without the "Old Man" moniker shortly after. It was adapted into the Wastelanders: Star-Lord novel, which maintains virtually the same story and dialogue and for that reason is not considered a separate reality.

In both versions, Wastelanders: Star-Lord is presented as a series of Cora's recordings, with new scenes introduced by Cora stating the recording entry code, location, and the context of the situation. This framing device was not maintained for the subsequent podcasts.

Recorder 3B02 accepted the name "Cora" given to her by Star-Lord, who never bothered asking for her real name. During her later travels with Doctor Doom and Valeria Richards, she introduced herself as both "Recorder 3B02" and "Cora" but was only addressed as "Recorder" by others.
