History:
(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - In the past (over a million "cycles" (seasons, years (of what length around what star)?)), unrevealed parties at least sought to harvest the blood of Cora's people as the blood could be used to create the drug YT-19.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - Despite the fact that the highly-sought drug YT-19 could be created from her people's blood, no one had attempted to harvest their blood in millions of cycles.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - Cora lived with her unidentified wife and their four unidentified children, apparently on the planet Uuex.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - Cora had heard of the Agents of the Cosmos at some point, and she knew that they were heroes and considered them to be respectable and safe.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - Cora and her four children were "in transit" (apparently traveling between worlds) when they were taken.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - Under unrevealed circumstances, Gholar came into the possession of Cora and her children.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - As part of a plot to accumulate wealth and power to restore power to the unstable planet Gramos and/or to build a conquering armada, Mercurio the Gramosian's agents apparently employed Kio to purchase (from Gholar on a planet whose name Flash Thompson could not pronounce) Cora and her children.

Kio and/or his agents locked Cora and her children within the chamber Sector 15 of his ship.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - In his new role as an Agent of the Cosmos, Venom/Flash Thompson learned of the "shipment of YT-19" sold by Gholar.

Venom traveled to the world on which Gholar was based and obtained the relatively large drive containing information on Gholar's YT-19 sales (at least).

(Venom: Space Knight#1 - BTS) - Venom intended to get the desired information off of the drive in the spaceship on which he had arrived on the planet, but that ship was blown up by (presumably security agents) pursuing him after his assault on Gholar's building.

Venom then took Gholar's drive to Morrellian Offworld Industries, where he linked it to a computer and learned that Gholar had sold the YT-19 to a pirate named Kio and that Kio's ship was scheduled to depart the planet shortly.

As Kio's ship took off, Venom latched onto it in the process of escaping pursuing thugs (presumably seeking to arrest or terminate him for his assault on Gholar and his property property), and as the ship reached space, Venom entered via an airlock door.

Encountering the robot 803, Venom convinced it to take him to where the YT-19 was stored.

(Venom: Space Knight#1) - 803 brought Venom into Sector 15. Seeing the family imprisoned there, Venom initially thought he was in the wrong place until 803 explained that the YT-19 came from their blood.

Cora warned Venom to stay away, but he introduced himself as Venom and an Agent of the Cosmos, and the relieved Cora exclaimed, "Thank the Gods." Not really understanding his own new role, Venom started to ask her if she knew what an Agent of the Cosmos was, but Cora recognized 803 as having served Kio and his crew and told him, "That thing is with the pirates." Venom assured her that 803 was "Team Us now," after which he instructed 803 to get Cora a gun and make sure nothing happened to her until he got back.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - Cora and her children donned spacesuits and helmets.

(Venom: Space Knight#1) - Venom engaged Kio and his crew, eventually hitting a button to open a large door on the ship, which pulled Venom, Kio, Cora and her children, and anyone else nearby into space.

Venom rescued Cora and her children from the carnivorous were-fish in the space around them and brought them back aboard the ship, while one of the were-fish confronted Kio.

Although Kio tried to use one of Cora's children as a shield, Venom apparently rescued the child, after which the were-fish fed on Kio.

After recovering 803 as well, Venom flew Kio's ship to the planet Uuex where Cora and her children were reunited with her wife.

Cora told Venom that she and her wife were forever in Venom's debt, and she him Venom that her family would be safe there, as she and her kids had been taken in transit and that no one had tried to harvest her people's blood in millions of cycles. When Venom asked why they had been taken now, Cora informed him that a darkness had been brewing out here in the outer rim and that she feared for the future. However, she also told him that it gave her hope that the Agents of the Cosmos still watched over them all, and she informed him that the Agents of the Cosmos were heroes.

Venom and 803 then departed in Kio's ship.cora-yt19-xt-vsk6

(Venom: Space Knight#6) - Having aided Venom in taking down Mercurio's Gramosians, the robotic Bhiv lacked a purpose and sought new masters. Venom dropped at least 12 of the Bhiv off on Uuex, telling Cora that if Mercurio ever tried to bother her again, the Bhiv could help her from here on out. Venom then told them Bhiv to meet their new master, and they replied, "Hail Cora!"

Comments: Created by Robbie Thompson and Ariel Olivetti.

Cora does not match up with any known extraterrestrial race of which I am aware.

Venom takes Cora and her children to Uuex where they are reunited with Cora's wife, but it is not confirmed that Uuex is their home planet and/or that there are other beings on that planet. The fact that no one had come for their blood in millions of cycles would make it seem like their world offered some protective and/or concealing qualities; however, the fact that she noted that someone came after her now because there was darkness brewing on the outer rim would make it seem that no one had been trying to get them at that the effort was new.

At any rate, I will profile Uuex in the coming weeks, but for now, I will profile Cora and her family but not profile her race, since we don't have any information about them, I will hold off on profiling a race associated with them at this time. We don't know that they aren't some Deviant, Eternal, Inhuman, Mutant, etc. off-shoot of some existing race.
Or maybe they ARE the Uuexians?

Regardless, we DO need follow-up stories telling us more about Cora and her people, the drug YT-19, etc.!

CLARIFICATIONS:
Cora should be distinguished from:

YT-19

YT-19 is a drug of some value that was created from the race of which Cora and her family are native.

Venom heard that the drug was "nasty stuff," but beyond that, it's chemical composition, desired effects, potential side effects, dosing, duration, etc. are all unrevealed.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - In the past (over a million "cycles" (seasons, years (of what length around what star)?)), unrevealed parties at least sought to harvest the blood of Cora's people as the blood could be used to create the drug YT-19.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - However, for reasons unrevealed, no one had attempted to harvest their blood in millions of cycles.

Cora and her four children were "in transit" (apparently traveling between her home on Uuex and some other world) when they were taken.

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - Under unrevealed circumstances, Gholar came into the possession of Cora and her children. Gholar knew that YT-19 could be made from their blood, and he considered Cora and her family to be a "shipment of YT-19."

(Venom: Space Knight#1 (fb) - BTS) - As part of a plot to accumulate wealth and power to restore power to the unstable planet Gramos and/or to build a conquering armada, Mercurio the Gramosian's agents apparently employed Kio to purchase Cora and her children from Gholar.

Venom defeated Kio and his agents, and returned Cora and her children to Uuex.

Cora's wife

cora-yt19-xt-vsk1-wifeCora's wife appeared to be the same race as Cora. She and Cora may have had the children individually or together via a means of merging their DNA and/or parthenogenesis, cloning, adoption, surrogate; etc. Alternatively, Cora (or her wife) could have had them via sexual reproduction from a relationship with a male, etc.

Cora and her wife and their children live on the planet Uuex, which may or may not be their native planet.

After Cora and her children were abducted in transit between worlds, Venom rescued them and returned them to Uuex. The children rushed to hug their other mother.

Cora's wife was not seen when Venom delivered the Bhiv to help protect them in case Mercurio ever came after them again.

Cora's children

cora-yt19-xt-vsk1-kid-kioshieldcora-yt19-xt-vsk1-kids-venom     The four children apparently lived on Uuex with Cora and her wife (presumably both considered their mothers, regardless of their origins).

All four were similar sized and so perhaps from the same pregnancy/whatever.

None of them were identified in-story, and there was no mention/external evidence of whether they were male or female (assuming males even exist in Cora's race).

During an interplanetary trip of unrevealed nature, Cora and her children were abducted by unrevealed parties; this may have been Gholar, who brought them back to his world of operations; alternatively, some could have brought/sold/whatever them to Gholar.

Employed by Mercurio and his Gramosians, Kio and his agents purchased Cora and her people and were in the process of transporting them to Mercurio's base when Venom, as an Agent of the Cosmos, arrived to rescue them. After freeing them and apparently advising them to don spacesuits, Venom confronted Kio and in the ensuing conflict, Venom opened a large door, causing Venom, Kio (and presumably his agents), 803, and Cora and her children to be pulled out into space.

With carnivorous were-fish flying around, Cora linked up with two of her kids. Kio tried to use of Cora's kids as a shield against one of the were-fish, but Venom rescued that kid and another and then brought Cora and her kids back aboard the ship. After using a Waldo to recover 803, Venom flew them all back to Uuex, where they were reunited with their other mother.

One of the children was seen when Venom delivered the Bhiv to help protect them in case Mercurio ever came after them again.

Note: See Cora's wife's sub-profile for a discussion of possible relationships and origins, but Cora called them her children specifically, and the subject never came up when Cora's wife was around.
