EARTH-91
Type: Alternate Earth
Environment: Earth-like
Usual means of access: Presumably vibrational
attunement
Dominant Life Form: Man-Things
Significant Inhabitants: "Avengers" ("Iron Fist," "Phoenix," "Sorcerer Supreme," "Starbrand"), the Doom-Thing
First Appearance: Avengers Forever II#5 (June,
2022)
History:
(Avengers Forever II#5 (fb)) - In
its prehistoric era circa 1,000,000 B.C., Earth-91, a planet of
Man-Things, was defended by a group of superheroes. At least on one
occasion, they assembled to protect the Earth from a threat (see comments).
(Avengers Forever II#5 (fb) - BTS) - At some point in
the modern era, Earth-22215's Doom Supreme pulled Earth-91's Doom-Thing
from his timeline and had him strapped to a large stone X as he
monologued about his power and the sacrifices and scars he suffered to
acquire it. Claiming that he had pulled Doom-Thing from his timeline
moments before his Multiversal Masters of Evil had diverged its
timeline, Doom Supreme kept Doom-Thing nailed to the X until Doom-Thing
succumbed to serving Doom Supreme.
(Weapon X-Men I#4) - After aiding Earth-80777's
Phoenix defeat Earth-696's Onslaught, Earth-2149's zombie Wolverine
was sent to Earth-91, a reality where he could theoretically "have fun"
without hurting anyone. Upon realizing that Earth-91 was populated
entirely with plant-based beings that had no meat to devour,
Wolverine-2149 panicked and proclaimed that he wanted to go home.
Comments: Created by Jason Aaron, Jim Towe and Guru e-FX.
The threat seen in Avengers Forever II#5 that the heroes banded together against was the Multiversal Masters of Evil, who ultimately slaughtered Earth-91's heroes when the planet was in its infancy, diverging Earth-35521 (a dystopian world where heroes never emerged) and overwriting that diverged reality over Earth-91. Earth-616's Firehair (Phoenix) and Starbrand (Brandy Selby) ultimately restored the overwritten realities with their proper timelines and since that occurred, we don't know if Earth-91's heroes battled the Multiversal Masters of Evil and won or if the Masters now never even appeared on Earth-91. Regardless of what threat they were assembling to face, they were not destroyed and the timeline continued unabated.
The Avengers, Iron Fist, Phoenix, Starbrand and Sorcerer Supreme were not identified by name so their names in this profile are only assumed. Similarly, Weapon X-Men I#4 shows Earth-91 counterparts to the Earth-616 heroes Captain America and Spider-Man. There is a Sorcerer Supreme seen in Earth-91 that looks pretty identical to the one seen in Earth-91 and without further info to go on, I'm assuming they are the same character, though one could also argue that the one in Avengers Forever II#5 is a counterpart of Agamotto (though he was wearing a counterpart Eye of Agamotto, suggesting that he perhaps wasn't Agamotto himself) while the one seen in Earth-91's modern era in Weapon X-Men I#4 is a counterpart of Dr. Strange. The only character from Earth-91 that was ever identified (as of 4/21/2026) is the Doom-Thing.
Sadly, there were no other images
of Earth-91, other than the main image seen above and the image seen
below of the assembled "Avengers." The images of the planet of
Man-Things seen in the subsequent pages after the one below in the
"Avengers" subprofile were actually images of the diverged Earth-35521,
as the Multiversal Masters of Evil's slaughter of the "Avengers" was
the point in which Earth-35521 diverged from Earth-91.

Earth-91 has no known connections to:
The "Avengers" were a band of prehistoric heroes assembled to protect the early Earth-91 from threats.
--Avengers Forever II#5
The Doom-Thing was an Earth-91 native that was plucked from his timeline by Earth-22215's Doom Supreme, leader of the Multiversal Masters of Evil. Doom Supreme had the Doom-Thing mystically bound to a large stone X as he monologued the story of the sacrifices he had made to acquire the power he had. The Doom-Thing eventually managed to escape by burning himself but Doom Supreme unleashed a small squad of Doctor Doom counterparts to reign the Doom-Thing back in. Doom Supreme then ordered the Doom-Thing to be nailed to the stone X, his eyelids removed to prevent him from looking away as Doom Supreme continued orating the sacrifices and scars he bore. The Doom-Thing ultimately begged for Doom Supreme to stop, at which point Doom Supreme ordered him released. The Doom-Thing fell to his knees in servitude and Doom Supreme ordered him to cut out his own tongue and clean up the mess it would make. The broken Doom-Thing willingly did as instructed and he soon joined Doom Supreme's army of Doctor Doom counterparts.
The Doom-Thing possesses the ability to ignite other beings that showed fear, much like Earth-616's Man-Thing.

Earth-91's prehistoric "Iron Fist" was a member of its earliest incarnation of "Avengers" circa 1,000,000 B.C. He assembled with the rest of his group to battle threats to Earth-91.
"Iron Fist" had the ability to focus his chi into his fist, surrounding it with mystical flames that rendered it superhumanly dense and hard.
--Avengers Forever II#5
Earth-91's prehistoric "Phoenix" was a member of its earliest incarnation of "Avengers" circa 1,000,000 B.C. She assembled with the rest of his group to battle threats to Earth-91.
"Phoenix" presumably had vast telekinetic and telepathic powers, much like Earth-616's Phoenix, as indicated by a fiery cosmic bird shape that surrounded her.

Earth-91's prehistoric "Sorcerer Supreme" was a
member of its
earliest incarnation of "Avengers" circa 1,000,000 B.C. He assembled
with the rest of his group to battle threats to Earth-91 and was
apparently still active into the modern era, as he appeared to be present when
Earth-2149's zombie Wolverine was deposited onto Earth-91 (see comments).
The "Sorcerer Supreme" had vast mystical abilities and was seen casting magic spells including one to levitate himself and one to generate mystic shields.
--Avengers Forever II#5 (Weapon X-Men I#4,
Earth-91's prehistoric "Starbrand" was a member of
its
earliest incarnation of "Avengers" circa 1,000,000 B.C. He assembled
with the rest of his group to battle threats to Earth-91.
"Starbrand" wielded vast cosmic power, the energy of which often
presented itself in the far of a large star shape.
