Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Dreadnought Air-Yacht was a military craft capable of anti-gravity flight. It contained a viewscreen to monitor other locations. It carried a variety of weapons and was said to have enough firepower to "rock a continent." It also had a force field which could resist Black Bolt's electron bolts.
History:
(Silver Surfer I#18) - The Dreadnought Air-Yacht was used by Maximus as his mobile headquarters after being exiled from Attilan, transporting himself and his subordinates Aiero, Leonus, Stallior and Timberius. When the Silver Surfer came near Attilan, Maximus had his subordinates attack the Surfer, hoping he would then assault Attilan. When they had finished provoking the Surfer's temper, the four subordinates returned to the air-yacht.
After the Silver Surfer had fought the Inhumans' royal family, Maximus sent his Air-Yacht towards Attilan, causing the royal family to think the Surfer was one of Maximus' allies. Maximus had his vessel begin firing on Attilan. Black Bolt flew up to engage the vessel in battle but Maximus raised the ship's force field so that his electron bolts couldn't damage the ship. However, eventually the Dreadnought was struck by weapons fired upon it by the royal family and was badly damaged; realizing he wouldn't win, Maximus retreated, limping away in the damaged Dreadnought.
