(Marvel Graphic Novel: Dr. Strange and Dr. Doom: Triumph and Torment) - Wai Chee Yee was one of the sorcerers of Earth summoned to the Temple of the Three in the Javan Rainforest by the Aged Genghis to participate in the centennial contest to decide the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth. She greeted his old friend Dr. Strange before the appearance of the Genghis. Like most, during the contest, she swiftly fell before the magic of the Vishanti and his body was then used by the Vishanti against the others. She regained her mind at the contest's conclusion, when Dr. Strange became the victor.

Comments: Created by Roger Stern, Michael Mignola, and Mark Badger.

Before the fight, Strange asked, "Wai Chee Yee, how are you? And how is my old friend Sen-Yu?"
To which the woman pictured here responded, "We are both well, Doctor."
That leads me to believe that the woman pictured is Wai Chee Yee, and that their mutual friend Sen-Yu is not present.
However, perhaps the guy to the speaker's right is Sen-Yu...or something. It's not clear to me.

I just stumbled upon Sen-Yu in Strange Tales I#130. He's a little bald fellow with glasses who lives in Hong Kong. Stephen describes him as "The one who guards the Ancient One's wealth..." and he gives Stephen. Apparently the Ancient One once saved his life, Sen-Yu tried to study magic under him but it didn't work out so he "like many others" served in a humble way.

Loki pointed out that Roger Stern revealed this character to be a woman after seeing that she was called a man this profile. Shame on us and thank you for the correction Uncle Rog!
