Powers/Abilities/Functions: Valtorr's Stings consist of a series of bolts coming from all directions striking the enemies of the caster. The targets can be solid or in gaseous form but they all are affected by the bolts. When hit, they are banished into their own dimension.

Casting Time: Few seconds
Range: Close (approximately 15 feet)
Components:
A mandatory component, probably at caster's choice among:

Duration: Instantaneous
Primary effects: Bolts hitting enemy targets in a close area, ignoring the caster.
Collateral effects: None.

History:
(Strange Tales I#152) - Doctor Strange conjured the Valtorr's Stings because ha was assaulted by demons that had materialized before him. The senseless demons only sought his destruction, so surrounded, ensnared and constricted the mystic. Even so, the bolts produced by the spell did not harm Strange, but dispelled the demons, hurling them back to the limbo whence they came.

Comments: Created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett.

    The banishment caused by the Stings is probably only effective on beings coming from a plane of existence different from the one where they are confronted.
