(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#12 (fb) - BTS) - Zoe was lazy and messy, and frequently bossed Ian around. He grew very frustrated with the relationship as Zoe grew more aggressive and dismissive about his sexuality and past relationships.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#12 (fb) ) - Ian found Zoe home in an apartment full of squalor. She told him she needed him to clean up and run errands before her friends came over because she didn't want Ian to be be seen by them.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#12 (fb) - BTS) - The Terrigen Cloud hit Ian and he remained in stasis for three days. When Ian returned home, he found his things boxed up, and he argued with Zoe about how she was treating him. They broke up and he felt like he couldn't be honest about his sexuality anymore. He got a costume to use in case he ever wanted to wear it.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#1 (fb) - BTS) - Soo realized he had mild telekinetic powers. He used his powers for simple tasks, like retrieving the remote control, but eventually had thoughts of using his powers for personal gain.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#3 (fb) - BTS) - Landlord Mr. Ravina tried evicting Ian. Ravina had a reputation for kicking out residents quickly and holding on to their security deposits.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#1 (fb) - BTS) - Ian put a book on hold at Burly Books, and began chatting with other people who had powers on message boards online. He called himself Telekinian and robbed an armored truck of a little cash, but then had second thoughts and tried to return the cash, but the truck was gone.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#1) - Telekinian was attacked by Hellcat, and the two of them briefly sparred before becoming friends (with Ian getting a black eye), sharing their mutual love of the musical Wicked. When Hellcat saw a civilian in distress, Ian used his powers to help her retrieve her theater tickets, which had been thrown into a sewer grate by her boyfriend Bob. To help the woman get revenge, Ian and Hellcat sought out Bob, and Ian used his powers to hang Bob by his coat from a high statue in Central Park. Ian admitted that heroism felt good, but he had no desire to be a super hero.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#1 - BTS) - Hellcat helped Telekinian return the stolen money to the truck.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#1) - Ian accompanied Hellcat, who revealed her identity as Patsy Walker, to visit She-Hulk, but She-Hulk had to let Patsy go from her current job, then Sharon King told Patsy she could no longer live in the building's storage room. Ian invited Patsy to stay with him, and she saw the apartment and accepted. Later, they stopped by Burly Books for Ian, but Patsy was shocked to recognize the man working there as her old friend, Tom Hale. Ian was shocked to realize that Patsy was the same person from the old Patsy Walker comic books.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#1 - BTS) - Ian, Patsy, Tom, and She-Hulk got drinks, and Ian told Tom about his powers. Tom agreed to hire Ian at Burly Books.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#1) - Ian and Tom told Patsy about the new job, giving Patsy the idea to start her own super-powered temp agency.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#2 (fb) - BTS) - Ian started work at the shop and developed a crush on Tom. Patsy started working at a mall clothing store. Ian saw news of Hedy Wolfe claiming the Patsy Walker comics were all true, and he texted Patsy about it.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#2) - After dressing up for an event at the bookstore, Ian stopped by the mall to give Patsy her keys, and he realized she was furious about the Hedy Wolfe stuff. When she realized he had a crush on Tom, Ian snuck away quickly.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#3) - As they passed That's a Spicy Wolverine pizza shop, Patsy told Ian and Tom about the threat of Casiolena, then they saw Mr. Ravina, and Ian introduced Patsy. Ravina's son Federigo arrived just then, and Ian was furious when he saw Tom crushing on Federigo. Patsy investigated the Ravinas and told Ian she wouldn't let him lose the apartment. That night, Patsy woke Ian up, revealing she had bed bugs and helped him realize he did as well. They confronted Mr. Ravina, who denied that the bed bugs were his problem. Sensing something mystic about them, Patsy took Ian to the home of Doctor Strange, where he met Wong, and Ian played chess with Wong while Patsy got a mystical upgrade. Ian and Tom later learned that Federigo had the power to summon bed bugs, and Patsy helped find him work. They also learned that Casiolena was gathering people with super-powers.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#5 (fb) - BTS) - Ian pressured Patsy to put a "find my phone" locator on her phone, which she did.

She-Hulk defeated Phil, an operative of Casiolena's, then rode Aragorn, Valkyrie's horse, with Tom and Ian to save the others. During the following fight, Ian dropped a stack of rocks on Casiolena's head, then she offered him a place on her team. Ian refused, but was shocked when the others thought he had been tempted. After they befriended Phil and Bailey, they realized Casiolena's aid, Poppo the Cunning, had lured them there. Later, Patsy showed Ian and the others the office space for her new temp agency.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#6) - Closing Burly Books for the day, Ian and Tom joined She-Hulk and Patsy for a day at Coney Island. Ian and Tom started flirting with teach other more. They rode rides and played games before realizing that Arcade was there. Arcade trapped them in a small version of Murderworld, and put Tom as their bait, then made the others compete in deadly rigged arcade games in order to save him. Ian had to participate in a driving challenge that gave him electric zaps as he made mistakes. Soon, Arcade was defeated, and Ian told Patsy that he was bisexual.

Ian was complimenting Tom when Mad Dog and Son of Satan, Patsy's ex-husbands, attacked, and Patsy was seemingly sent to Hell.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#10) - While Patsy was missing, Ian and Tom hid under a table with Sharon. When Ian realized old gum was above them, he rushed out from under the table, then balked as Tom teased him about being younger than him. Soon, the two of them were making out. Ian put on a super hero costume and joined Hellcat and Jubilee in fighting against the Black Cats, who were robbing the Ishioka Museum of Costume Design, where they ewre teaming with Black Cat and had captured Bailey and manipulated her into joining her side. Ian used his powers to hold Zoe back.

Bailey soon managed to trap Ian, Hellcat, and Jubilee inside her attaché bag, where they tended to Hellcat's stab wound (received in battle with the Black Cats). As they waited for Bailey to open her bag, they ate snacks they found in there, then they waited for Bailey to open the bag. When Ian failed to show up for a scheduled date, Tom went to check on him and Black Cat took over his mind. When Ian, Hellcat, and Jubilee finally escaped from the satchel, Black Cat took her gang with her, now including Tom, and Ian was distraught until Zoe shocked him by saying she knew how to break Black Cat's enchantments.

(Patsy Walker, AKA Hellcat!#14) - Impatient to go after Tom, Ian let Bailey sleep on his couch, and he rebuffed her when she tried flirting with him. Ian held off Tom as one of the other Black Cats hit him in the head with a brick, knocking him down.
