History:
(Star-Lord II#4 (fb) - BTS) - Edmund Allen grew up with his brother James. Edmund eventually became a cab driver.

(Star-Lord II#6 (fb) - BTS) - Edmund married Sharon Cayonne and had a son, Greg.

(Star-Lord II#4 (fb) ) - James, a brilliant scientist, got a mysterious alien suit from A.I.M. and began running experiments on it, realizing that it could lock on to a particular point in space and then not be harmed or moved by anything, yet as the Earth continued to turn, the suit would remain in its space, destroying anything that came into contact with it. James and Edmund worked on the suit for weeks, finding a way to use just the boots and gloves that would allow a user to manipulate them with their own mind, allowing them to use the boots and gloves to move through the air and granting them strength and invulnerability. Edmund returned from buying donuts to find Mr. Crann and his A.I.M. agents killing James, having questioned him about the boots and gloves, but Edmund rushed in and grabbed a gun, killing Crann and the A.I.M. agents, but James was already dead.

(Star-Lord II#4 (fb) - BTS) - Allen dressed all in black, with the gloves and boots, and began robbing banking executives and penthouse apartments. He became known as the Silver Bandit.

(Star-Lord II#5 (fb) - BTS) - Silver Bandit became aware of Javelynn's reputation as a thief.

(Star-Lord II#4 (fb) ) - During one robbery, the Silver Bandit was stopped by Daredevil, but the Bandit fled.

(Star-Lord II#4 (fb) - BTS) - Having always planned to quit burglaries if he ever faced danger, Allen stopped committing crimes after that. Daredevil, having seen Allen's face when he fled, tracked him down, but had no proof that Allen had actually committed the robberies. As a result, Allen's wife left him with Greg. As the years went by, Greg refused to have a relationship with Allen unless he would give up the boots and gloves, but Allen refused.

(Star-Lord II#2 (fb) - BTS) - Allen ended up in Winter Hills retirement community, which Greg paid for monthly. Greg signed him up for the "Golden Friends" program, where someone would come and spend time with Allen.

(Star-Lord II#2) - In Winter Hills, Peter Quill (Star-Lord) arrived as Allen's companion and coerced him to go on a walk, though Allen only wanted to stay in his own apartment. Quill recommended that Allen have an adventure, but Allen told Quill to give up adventure and settle down. Quill heard an explosion and rushed to investigate, and Allen followed, finding Ms. Marvel battling a group of bank robbers and Mindblast. During the fight, Allen pretended to be a lost senior citizen on the way to his granddaughter's birthday, distracting Mindblast long enough for Star-Lord and Ms. Marvel to defeat her. Ms. Marvel yelled at Quill for putting Allen in danger.

(Star-Lord II#3 (fb) - BTS) - Allen secretly took 4000 dollars from the bag of stolen money.

(Star-Lord II#2) - Quill walked Allen home, where he found his door open, and Quill attacked the man inside before realizing it was Greg. Greg yelled at Quill, knowing he was a criminal, then he threw a guilt trip at his dad for paying for his apartment. Edmund demanded that Star-Lord remain as his companion, but he convinced Greg to give Star-Lord a job as a bartender so he could pay off his fine sooner.

(Star-Lord II#3 (fb) - BTS) - Quill fell into a pattern of visiting Allen on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while working at the bar on the other days. Allen learned more of Quill's origins as a half-alien, half-human space adventurer, but Allen avoided talking much about his own history. Allen's neighbor, Rob Evans, sometimes stole Allen's shoes. Allen spent 800 of the 4000 dollars.

(Star-Lord II#3) - Quill opened up to Allen about a recent visit from his alien sister, Victoria, who wanted to kill him. When Allen bought ice cream for them both, Quill noticed the money in his wallet and confronted him, and Allen admitted that he'd taken the money. Allen returned the 3200 to Quill, who reluctantly agreed to make up the difference.

(Star-Lord II#4) - Quill brought Daredevil with him to meet Allen, and Allen came clean about his origins. As they argued about the ethics of Allen's life, Allen reminded Daredevil that he regularly broke the law and beat up criminals. Daredevil left, promising to watch Allen. Later, Quill rushed to Allen, informing him that the Black Cat had kidnapped Greg, and she wanted the Silver Bandit to aid her in a heist.

(Star-Lord II#5) - Allen practiced using the gloves and boots for the first time in years as he and Quill began planning a heist from Javelynn's penthouse, like Black Cat had demanded. They sent Old Man Logan to help Javelynn against Black Cat's thugs, and Daredevil to find Greg, then Quill and Allen worked together to bypass Javelynn's security systems. After they opened Javelynn's safe, Black Cat entered with her henchmen and she tried convincing Allen to commit more robberies for her. Daredevil arrived, assuring them that Greg was safe, and he joined the fight, then Quill called in Abigail Brand and S.W.O.R.D., but they determined they had no jurisdiction over the Black Cat. Allen grabbed Black Cat and walked out into the sky, determined to take her to jail, but he had a heart attack just then. Black Cat escaped, and Allen fell from the air and on to a car below.

(Star-Lord II#6 (fb) - BTS) - Edmund died from the heart attack. After Edmund's will was read, his gloves and boots were left behind to Greg.
