History:
(New Warriors I#23 (fb) - BTS) - Decades ago, a South Vietnamese soldier, Go Vin Ng, joined with a group of American soldiers in foraging the jungles of Cambodia, where they discovered the Temple of the Dragon's Breadth. There, the mystical and mysterious Tai offered the men the chance to marry the priestesses of the Temple, fulfilling a prophecy that East would meet West and create a generation of children with special connection to the Universal Wellspring of Power. Go Vin Ng married a priestess and they soon had daughter Min Li Ng.

(New Warriors I#8 (fb) - BTS) - During a war in Vietnam, Min Li Ng was exposed to an experimental napalm that eventually granted her fire-manipulation and generation powers. In time, she took the name Firewall.

(New Warriors I#8 (fb) - BTS) - A group of eco-activists willing to use crime to support their causes recruited four super-powered criminals representing the four elements and honed them in to the Force of Nature. Firewall fought alongside Aqueduct, Skybreaker, and Firewall. They moved to the Amazons of Brazil, and framed the Brazilian government for the kidnapping of Madeline Baldwin, who was really one of the Project's members.

(New Warriors I#7) - Protecting a Project: Earth plot in the Brazilian rain forest, Force of Nature questioned and killed a man to discover the identities of arriving Americans, the New Warriors. Firewall helped burn him alive.

(New Warriors I#8) - Project: Earth ordered Force of Nature to apprehend the New Warriors in the Amazon. Project: Earth convinced the young heroes to aid them in their cause.

(New Warriors I#9) - Force of Nature fought against the rain forest contractors, focusing on doing as much damage as possible. The New Warriors attacked, rescuing the contractors and taking down the Force. During the battle, Firewall melted the bullets fired at her as she took offense to being called "chick", then Nova grabbed her and threw her into Aqueduct.

(New Warriors I#21) - Outside Switzerland, the Folding Circle attacked a Project: Earth meeting, demanding to see Firewall, and she entered the room. They offered Firewall a chance to learn about her past, and she chose to go with them, so the Left Hand teleported her away with the group.

(New Warriors I#22 (fb) - BTS) - Firewall was told she could find out about the truth of her origins, then she chose the new code name Silk Fever for herself.

(New Warriors I#21) - Silk Fever joined the Folding Circle in attacking Night Thrasher at the Taylor Foundation building in Hong Kong. Firewall watched Bloodstrike kill a cop and gain more power as a result.

(New Warriors I#22) - Silk Fever watched as Night Thrasher was pressured to ally with the Folding Circle, and he agreed. The group travelled to Cambodia and pushed through the dense jungle to where the pact of their parents' had been formed. As they drew close, they were attacked by members of the Dragon's Breadth cult, and Silk Fever burned many of them before they got close to the Temple of the Dragon's Breadth.

(New Warriors I#23) - Silk Fever watched the Left Hand take down more cult members, and they realized how closely the cult uniforms matched those of Night Thrasher. In the temple, they found Tai waiting, and she explained the pact that the parents of the Folding Circle had made years before. Just then, the New Warriors (Darkhawk, Namorita, Nova, Rage, Silhouette, Speedball) arrived.

(New Warriors I#24) - The Folding Circle and the New Warriors battled with Silk Fever trading blows with Nova (who said he preferred her old costume) before Night Thrasher hit her with a baton on the head. When the fight ended, Tai told them about the pacts their parents had made, bonding their children to the Universal Wellspring, an ancient power source with conections to Earth, and Tai prepared to sacrifice the others to close the well and gain ultimate power.

(New Warriors I#25) - The New Warriors and the Folding Circle freed themselves from Tai's bonds, but she knocked most of them out, including Silk Fever, in a series of energy blasts. Silk Fever and the others were hung up in an energy lattice by Tai as she prepared to kill them all, but the New Warriors soon freed the Folding Circle and the Folding Circle chose to flee the Temple of the Dragon's Breadth instead of fighting Tai.

(Night Thrasher II#3 (fb) - BTS) - The Folding Circle crashed their ship near Madripoor and soon started getting involved in criminal activity on the island. Silk Fever and the others started working for General Nguyen Ngoc Coy against Aardwolf.

(Night Thrasher II#3) - The Folding Circle watched as Midnight's Fire manipulated Silhouette in a plot to take down Aardwolf. The group then went to confront Night Thrasher together.

(Night Thrasher II#4) - Night Thrasher fought the Folding Circle, hitting Silk Fever with a truncheon to the jaw before Silhouette stopped him. The villains went after Aardwolf, who rushed to Tyger Tiger for help, but the woman just stood by while Aardwolf was savagely attacked. Silk Fever set Aardwolf on fire as the others beat him, then they bound the villain and prepared to kill him by the waterfront, though Tyger Tiger objected. Night Thrasher and Silhouette saved Aardwolf from drowning and fought back against the Folding Circle. Silk Fever fired a blast at Silhouette, but ended up hitting Smiling Tiger. A series of magnesium bursts and flame-retardant foam to defeat Silk Fever and soon Aardwolf was rescued. The Folding Circle vowed revenge.

(X-Men Legacy I#275 (fb) - BTS) - Under unknown circumstances, Silk Fever was imprisoned in America.

(X-Men Legacy I#275) - During a prison riot, Silk Fever, Ruby Thursday, and Supercharger tried to stop Rogue, who was containing super-villains, but Rogue easily defeated them.
