History:
(Silver Surfer: The Best Defense#1 (fb) - BTS) - Scab Tongue, an alien
smuggler, landed his ship on the Train, a collection of destroyed
worlds filled with refugees who were caught in the cosmic trail of the
Conductor, a massive Celestial creation. Scab Tongue, flanked by his
crew, offered any refugee who could pay a spot on his ship, and thus an
escape from the Train.
(Silver Surfer: The Best Defense#1) - X'anth approached Scab Tongue, seeking to purchase passage board to his ship in exchange for an alien currency called Salt Buck, but Scab Tongue burned the currency, yelling that it wasn't good enough. A human employee of Roxxon sought his way aboard, as well as did a Centaurian girl named Goldie, but Scab Tongue threw them both off his ship. When the Silver Surfer attacked, he easily defeated Scab Tongue and his crew.

X'anth (Silver Surfer: The Best Defense#1) - Trapped aboard the Train, in the wake of the cosmic Conductor, under unknown circumstances, X'anth sought to purchase passage off the Train by giving Salt Buck currency to Scab Tongue the smuggler. X'anth described himself as "liege of the Western Salt Hills, the richest most cultured region in the seven bases."
