History:
(Groot I#1) - Laz, Bl'rt, and their Skrull friend posed as identical Earth humans and picked up a stranded Rocket Raccoon and Groot in space. As they casually sought to get intel on Earth's defenses, Laz accidentally shifted his form into that of Groot, and then a Groot/Rocket combination, exposing their nature as Skrulls. Bl'rt and the others let Rocket and Groot go as they expressed their disappointment in Laz.

(Groot I#4 (fb) - BTS) - The Skrulls set a goal to conquer Earth, and put Laz in charge of navigating them there.

(Groot I#4) - Laz, Bl'rt, and one more Skrull attacked Groot and his ally Mantron, on what they thought was Earth, but they quickly realized that Laz had guided them to the planet Earfk. Seeking something to conquer, the Skrulls willingly joined Groot and Mantron in battling their foe, Eris, who had captured Rocket Raccoon. On their way, they met Numinus. When they arrived on Eris' base, the Skrulls used their human forms to try and distract the aliens, but Laz again exposed them when he accidentally changed shape again. The allies all rushed to fight Eris and her forces, but Groot was seemingly destroyed and the others, including the Skrulls, were captured.

(Groot I#5) - Bl'rt and the others were placed in a chamber, where Eris planned to execute them, but the chamber wouldn't work, so Eris activated an electric charge in the collars the captives wore, causing them pain. Groot, now in his baby form, fought to save them, so the guards gathered around with drawn guns, and Laz shocked himself and the others by manifesting flame powers, revealing his nature as a Super-Skrull. In the end, Groot grew to giant size, and Mantron sacrificed itself to defeat Eris. As the others departed, the Skrulls chose to commandeer Eris' ship, but they promised not to try and invade anyone.

Bl'rt is never clearly identified among the Skrulls and they all look the same.
