History:
(Combat Kelly I#31/5 (fb) - BTS) - Anna had a
relationship with Nazi officer Ludwig, who was a member of the covert
organization the Wolves, which was made up of various Gestapo and S.S.
fanatics using terrorism to fight the Allied forces' expanding
occupation of Germany in the last months of World War II in Europe. Anna came to
despise the Nazis for their philosophy and the destruction of Germany
they had caused. She became an undercover resistance fighter, covertly
aiding Allied forces as Agent K. Ignorant of this, Ludwig encouraged
her to join the Wolves but she refused, ending in an argument.
(Combat Kelly I#31/5) - In March 1945, American
infantry soldiers Combat Kelly, Cookie Novak and Captain Thorn
parachuted near Lubeck in the state of Schleswig-Holstein and very
quickly made contact with Agent K. She took them to the Wolves'
headquarters, a mineshaft, but when Ludwig suddenly arrived, she
pretended to betray the Americans and forced them into a water tank
with rising water to drown them. Agent K released them later when she could
and lit the fuse for dynamite, intending to seal the mineshaft with the
Wolves inside, but she was discovered by Ludwig. Both angry at each
other's betrayal, Agent K threw the dynamite at Ludwig at the
mineshaft's opening just as he shot her. The explosion killed Ludwig
and sealed the mineshaft, ending the Wolves' threat. The three
Americans respected her sacrifice.

The Wolves were a group of Gestapo and S.S. fanatics based in a mineshaft near Lubeck in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. The Wolves used terrorism to fight the Allied forces' expanding occupation of Germany in the last months of World War II in Europe, and were pushing German civilians to follow them. Ludwig was one member who encouraged Anna, with whom he had a relationship, but she resisted due to her anti-Nazi sentiments. Anna secretly became resistance fighter Agent K and aided Allied forces against the Wolves. She led American soldiers Combat Kelly, Cookie Novak and Captain Thorn to the Wolves' base and exploded the mineshaft entrance, burying the Wolves inside and ending their threat.
