WOLVERINE CAR

Classification: Terrestrial vehicle (probably extradimensional - see comments)

Creator: Unrevealed

User/Possessors: Unrevealed

First Appearance: Hot Wheels Character Cars (2019)

Powers/Abilities/Functions: The Wolverine car is a terrestrial vehicle whose full capabilities are unrevealed. The driver's cabin has limited forward visibility, so additional sensors are likely incorporated. Giant retractable claws made from Adamantium have been incorporated into the car's shell, and can extend at the driver's will over the front wheel hubs.

History:

(Hot Wheels Character Cars (fb) - BTS) - The Wolverine car was deigned with three giant retractable Adamantium claws that could extend over each front wheel hub.

I'm not even sure how to classify this (I just find this concept very amusing). The only real clue lies in the retractable bonnet claws being Adamantium, so presumably this car is from an Earth where this otherwise rare and expensive metal alloy is more common. My bet is this vehicle comes from Earth-50810 (where the Mega Morphs are from) and these vehicles are precursors to (or derived from) those giant machines (the Wolverine Mega Morph has giant Adamantium claws as well). Other cars in this range are Thor, Captain America, Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen, yet only the Wolverine vehicle identifies a component very specific to the Earth-616 hero.
