History:
(New Warriors V#7 (fb) ) - Sheath was a human with Inhuman heritage who was transformed into a NuHuman when Black Bolt detonated a Terrigen bomb. She became affiliated with Lash, the brutal leader of Orollan's Inhuman tribe.

(New Warriors V#7) - A member of the Orollan tribe of Inhumans, Sheath accompanied Nocculus and their leader, Lash, to Jakarta, where a group of NuHumans led by Hollow had summoned them with a captive NuHuman, the New Warriors' Haechi.

(New Warriors V#8) - As Lash tried to recruit Haechi, his teammate Sun Girl tried to attack the massive Inhuman; Sheath counterattacked, and held the girl hostage with a blade at her throat. However, Haechi blasted Sheath, and soon the rest of the New Warriors arrived. Sheath battled the Atlantean Water Snake, but eventually the renegade Inhumans were defeated, and Lash judged Hollow to be unworthy and killed him. Lash, Sheath, and Nocculus returned to Orollan with new recruits Jack Chain and Nightfall.

(Black Bolt I#9) - Sheath, along with Jack Chain and Furball, accompanied Lash to a graveyard in the Bronx, where they intended to kill Inhuman king Black Bolt. Sheath was blasted by Black Bolt, and Lash's strike party proved no match for the Inhuman king and his ally Titania, but Lash kidnapped the alien child Blinky, who was under Black Bolt's protection, and escaped.

(Black Bolt I#10) - When Black Bolt and Titania journeyed to Orollan, Sheath, Furball, and Jack Chain were waiting for them. Titania made short work of Sheath, but she and the Inhuman king were both knocked out by Fume. Later, she and the others watched as Lash prepared to use Black Bolt's blood to trigger a new wave of Terrigenesis. She attacked when Black Bolt and Titania broke free, but could only watch as Blinky transformed into the massive ancient Inhuman Jailer, who had possessed her...

(Black Bolt I#11) - The Jailer killed Jack Chain and Lash, prompting Sheath and Furball to flee. They headed towards the aircar Black Bolt had flown to Orollan, hoping to use it as an escape vehicle, but Titania ambushed them, demanding their help to bring in reinforcements. They boarded the vehicle, and Sheath piloted it towards New York. Before they could reach it, however, they were joined by the teleporting dog Lockjaw, who soon teleported away with Titania, leaving Sheath and Furball to their own devices.

Comments: Created by Christopher Yost and Marcus To.

"Sheathe" was, IIRC, the original name for the X-character Marrow, but it was deemed to be "too sexual".

Sheath appeared in animated form in the 2019 Marvel Rising special "Chasing Ghosts". She was voiced by actress Amanda C. Miller.
