In time, he came to the attention of Lash, who considered Nocculus worthy of joining his Tribe team, alongside members like Nightfall, Jack Chain and Sheath. They based themselves in Orollan.

(New Warriors V#7) - Lash arrived in Jakarta with Sheath and Nocculus and they found Haechi and Sun Girl fleeing from Nightfall and Jack Chain, who'd been helping Hollow, Spark and Fume, three Inhumans who were hoping to join the Tribe. (New Warriors V#8) - Sensing the New Warriors (Hummingbird, Scarlet Spider, Speedball, Justice, Water Snake) nearby, Nocculus mind-controlled many civilians in Jakarta into fighting them. Soon, Hummingbird disrupted Nocculus' control and he cried out in pain. He cried out again when he saw Hummingbird's true potential.
