History:
(New Warriors V#7 (fb) ) - Jack Chain was a human with Inhuman heritage who was transformed into a NuHuman when Black Bolt detonated a Terrigen bomb. He became affiliated with a small group of Inhumans, composed of himself, Hollow, Fume, Spark, and Nightfall. They intended to curry favor with the renegade Inhumans of Orollan and their brutal leader Lash by delivering another Inhuman to them.

(New Warriors V#7) - Hollow, Fume, and Spark abducted Inhuman hero Haechi and his teammate Sun Girl, then had Nightfall teleport them to an apartment building in Jakarta, where Jack chained up Haechi. Jack and Nightfall worried that Lash wouldn't like their impulsiveness, but Hollow overrode them. Sun Girl tried to escape; as she was human, they decided to kill her. Spark tried to lure her into Jack's chains by igniting a fire, but she unexpectedly jumped into the fire instead, grabbing her gear and blasting the chains that held Haechi.

(New Warriors V#8) - As the building burned around them, Jack and the others searched for Haechi. Soon, the rest of the New Warriors arrived; after Silhouette took down Fume and Spark, Jack cocooned her in chains, incapacitating her. He tried to trap the Scarlet Spider, but instead was punched out by Speedball. Lash himself had arrived, and deemed Hollow unworthy, killing him. He apparently judged Jack Chain less harshly, however, and took him and Nightfall back to Orollan with him.

(Black Bolt I#9) - Jack Chain, along with Sheath and Furball, accompanied Lash to a graveyard in the Bronx, where they intended to kill Inhuman king Black Bolt. Lash's strike party proved no match for the Inhuman king and his ally Titania, but Jack noticed the alien child Blinky, who was under Black Bolt's protection, and grabbed her with his chains. Jack and the others, along with the captive Blinky, fled.

(Black Bolt I#10) - When Black Bolt and Titania journeyed to Orollan, Sheath, Furball, and Jack Chain were waiting for them. After seeing Titania and Black Bolt defeat Sheath and Furball, he fled, but the duo were both knocked out by Fume. Later, Jack and the others watched as Lash prepared to use Black Bolt's blood to trigger a new wave of Terrigenesis. He attacked when Black Bolt and Titania broke free, but could only watch as Blinky transformed into the massive ancient Inhuman Jailer, who had possessed her...

(Black Bolt I#11) - The Jailer grabbed Jack Chain and devoured his life force, killing him.
