History:
(X-Men II#100 (fb) - BTS) - Seth and the Neo lived peacefully for years until the High Evolutionary, influenced by Mr. Sinister switched off the X-gene in all of Earth's mutants, resulting in many Neo's death.

(X-Men II#100 - BTS) - Seth joined Domina in search of revenge against those responsible for their suffering. Seth was ordered to infiltrate Cape Canaveral, become an astronaut and travel into space and destroy the High Evolutionary's space station.

(X-Men II#100 (fb) - BTS) - During his time at Cape Canaveral, Seth was introduced to the X-Men's Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde) as they would accompany Peter Corbeau and Starcore to the High Evolutionary's space station to make the station inhabitable. Pryde thought Seth had a smile to die for and could surf like a god. Taking a liking to one another the duo went on a date during which they argued quantum physics while spending the second date at Cocoa Beach. Although still on a mission Seth truly fell in love with Pryde.

(X-Men II#100 - BTS) - Seth joined Starcore, Corbeau and the X-Men to the High Evolutionary's abandoned space station, where they started work on the station.

(X-Men II#100 (fb) - BTS) - Having completely fallen for Pryde and suspecting she was in fact one of the Neo, Seth confessed his feelings to Domina, she reluctantly allowed Seth to take Shadowcat with him after the mission.

(X-Men II#100) - After the completion of their task the X-Men joined Corbeau and the Starcore astronauts in the festivities aboard the station. Seth, however, had prepared his moment to strike and invited Pryde for a "date" in the station's catacombs. Seth handed Pryde a rose after which he kissed her and used his power to disrupt her nervous system. Seth confessed she alone would get to live after which he tightly bound her to completely inhibit her ability to phase. Seth then set out installing highly volatile explosions throughout the space station, planning to destroy it, killing the X-Men and taking Pryde with him. wearing the suit

(X-Men II#100) - Sometime later, now wearing his specialized green and purple space suit Seth once again contacted Domina. Explaining he was about to accomplish his mission by blowing up the space station Seth once again reminded Domina he would bring Pryde with him, certain she was one of the Neo. However, mere moments later Domina sensed her husband Jaeger had been killed and ceased contact after which Seth was attacked by Shadowcat, armed with one of Wolverine's bone claws. During their fight the explosions, rigged throughout the space station went off. Believing her help was needed elsewhere Shadowcat left to warn the X-Men. Seth was determined to still leave the station with Pryde and followed her only to be attacked by Rogue who tried to subdue Seth with her powers. Seth proved to kbe immune to Rogue's powers and busted loose, which resulted in rupturing the hull of the station. Seth said his goodbyes to Pryde after which he jumped into the hard vacuum of space, presumably returning to Earth. The X-Men, nonetheless managed to save the entire Starcore crew and safely return to Earth.

(X-Men: Giant-Size#1 - BTS) - Because most Neo lost their powers after M-Day, no live Neo was born for over a year. When new mutants began surfacing, the Guardian Clan invaded Utopia to learn how mutants restarted their race, but the enigmatic Evolutionaries apparently disintegrated them and all other Neo worldwide to protect mutantkind.

X-Men II#100 had 7 variant covers, the JRJR variant depicted Seth's fight with Rogue.

Seth was convinced Kitty Pryde was one of the Neo, a plot that was followed up in X-Men Declassified (October, 2000) when Wolverine witnessed a hologram of a Neo in a nursery replacing the true Kitty Pryde for a Neo baby. Meaning the Kitty Pryde we've grown to know and love was in fact one of the Neo. This plot has since been abandoned entirely. Also, Pryde was unaffected when the Evolutionaries disintegrated all of the Neo worldwide.

The Neo received a profile in the X-Men - Earth's Mutant Heroes (2011). The Neo were a society of Homo sapiens superior, an evolutionary offshoot of humanity born with the mutant X-gene, which gave them superhuman abilities. The Neo lived in seclusion for many generations and believed they were superior to humans and other mutants.
