History: (Spider-Man Magazine I#3) - Sai was an adventurer and expert swordsman who traveled through time. At some point, he earned the enmity of villains Sergeant Death, Ground Plot and General Lucifer.

Comments: Created by Kelly Sands.

Sai's origin was never revealed but he did wear a costume with X logos on the chest and belt buckle, suggesting that perhaps he was a mutant affiliated with the X-Men. It's possible, given Sai's time-traveling nature, that he hails from an alternate future in which he was a member of the X-Men and traveled to the modern era.

Despite being called Sai, Sai carried a sword and was an expert swordsman, rather than utilizing sais in battle.

Sai's height & weight were impossible to approximate, as he was never seen next to a character whose height & weight had been officially determined. In his only appearance, Sai did not appear to possess visible irises but that could just be his mask obscuring his eyes.

Sai was a product of the 1994 Spider-Man Magazine's Create Your Own Super Hero or Super-Villain section that ran in each issue of the magazine. He was created by Kelly Sands (then age 12) of Alamagordo, New Mexico. As such, there is no evidence to support whether the characters mentioned in this profile are native to Earth-616 or some other reality...of course, there is nothing to suggest they aren't from Earth-616 either...
