History: (Spider-Man Magazine I#10) - The superhero Rock Solid battled enemies Hammer Head Man, Mr. Dynamite and the Chisel.

Comments: Created by P.J. Slocum.

Rock Solid is a product of the 1994 Spider-Man Magazine's "Create Your Own Super Hero or Super-Villain" section that ran in most earlier issues of the Magazine. In Rock Solid's case, he was created by then-13-year-old P.J. Slocum of Mt. Kisco, New York. As a fringe character, Rock Solid was not confirmed to exist on Earth-616 but there is no evidence to say he doesn't exist of Earth-616 either...

Rock Solid's height & weight were impossible to determine, as he was never seen next to any character whose height & weight were officially determined. In addition, Rock Solid was never seen in human form despite it being noted that he could transform back into human form.

Rock Solid's origin was never shown but it seems likely, given the popularity of the X-Men in the 1990s, that he may be a mutant.
