population unrevealed; two were seen, and both of those were slain

First Appearance: Cosmic Powers Unlimited#3 (November, 1995)

Powers/Abilities: These creatures walked on two legs and had very tiny forelimbs, similar to a Tyrannosaurus rex. Their forelimbs each ended in a three digit hand with sharp talons (perhaps even bone density).

They also have multiple fanged teeth in both mandible and maxilla, and they had a medium-length tail, which may have been used for balance.

They looked to have a thick, perhaps scaly hide, but they had no defense against the energy blasts of the Spinsterhood's staffs, which could blow one of their heads to pieces at close range.

Despite looking to be reptillian, they survived in frigid wastelands, so they were very tolerant if not outright comfortable in extreme colds.

They speak in growls, at least under some circumstances.

Traits: Given their appearance, notably their teeth, they were most likely carnivorous predators.

They were willing to confront and face an equal number of beings close to their own size.

Type: Bilaterally symmetric reptilian bipeds
Eyes: Two (on head; eye color not clearly seen; possibly yellow)
Fingers: Two (with opposing thumb) - it's not clear what level of manual dexterity they have
Toes: Unrevealed
Skin color: Brown
Average height: Approximately 8'
Average weight: Approximately 600-800 lbs.

(Cosmic Powers Unlimited#3 (fb) - BTS) - An unidentified race of apparent carnivorous predators dwelled within the frigid wastelands of an unidentified planet in the Jubat system of an unidentified galaxy.

(Cosmic Powers Unlimited#3 (fb) - BTS) - Sent to this world by the extradimensional power-monger Jakar as part of his efforts to master the secrets of a cosmic energy globe stolen from Tyrant, the Spinsterhood warriors Ganymede and Persephone spent weeks honing their fighting skills.

(Cosmic Powers Unlimited#3) - Ganymede and Persephone faced off against a pair of apparent carnivorous predators.

As one creature growled and confronted her, Ganymede released an energy blast that shattered its head.

At the same time, Persephone slew the other creature.

I'm not familiar with the Jubat system being referenced anywhere else.
