History:
(Daredevil I#220 (fb) - BTS) - An Italian businessman, Silvio Gulio sought to purchase some of the patents left behind by Maxwell Glenn after his death for Emilio Reuss. The patents were left to Heather Glenn in Maxwell's will. Gulio went to New York City to steal the patents from Heather's safe. He rented a highly expensive New York lodging, protected by electronic surveillance. When he entered the apartment, he saw Heather had hanged herself. He robbed the safe, accidentally leaving a cigarette butt behind. He sent the patent on to Venice, planning to follow the next day.
(Daredevil I#220) - Gulio was celebrating with his guards when Daredevil attacked, and Gulio sent the armed men against him. The hero easily defeated the guards. Gulio hid behind a secure door, but Daredevil used bullets to open it. Gulio then grabbed a board to protect himself, but Daredevil easily disarmed him. Daredevil furiously accused Gulio of killing Heather, but Gulio said he didn't kill her. Gulio told the police and attorney Matt Murdock what had really happened, and they believed his story.
