History:
(Daredevil I#230 (fb) - BTS) - An agent of the Kingpin, Lois was ordered to act as the nurse for the son of Nick Manolis, the police detective. Manolis' son had a fatal heart condition, and Kingpin had promised medical care for him if Manolis lied to the public about Matt Murdock.

(Daredevil I#229) - Lois watched over Manolis and his son, who was getting ready for surgery, when Ben Urich dropped by for a visit. She told Urich not to smoke, then listened to Urich's questions about Manolis' claims about Murdock. Manolis refused to give Urich any intel at the time. When Manolis' son died in surgery, Manolis chose to tell Ben everything. Lois followed Manolis and Urich out to the roof and violently assaulted them both. She broke the bones in Urich's hand, under orders to leave him alive, and then she savagely beat Manolis, breaking many of the bones in his body.

(Daredevil I#230) - Days later, at Kingpin's order, Lois entered Manolis' hospital room, where he was laid up with broken bones. Manolis was on the phone with Urich, trying to make sure his story would be told. Lois announced herself to Urich on the phone and made him listen to her killing Manolis.

(Daredevil I#231 (fb) - BTS) - Kingpin ordered Lois to remove herself from New York City, and he set up a relocation in Arizona.

(Daredevil I#231) - Lois was furious about the relocation and refused the orders, instead going to get revenge on Ben Urich herself. She showed up at Urich's apartment, pounding on the door and claiming she was a nurse and that Ben was in danger. Ben's wife Doris opened up the door and Lois attacked her, then hanged her from the bathroom light fixture. Ben soon arrived home with his armed guard, Officer Hegerfors, and Lois attacked them, punching Urich in the stomach and then smashing the cop's head into the wall. While Ben cut down Doris, narrowly saving her life, Daredevil attacked Lois in his civilian identity and left her unconscious on the floor, in handcuffs and with a broken jaw.

(Daredevil I#232 (fb) - BTS) - After her arrest, Lois agreed to talk to the district attorney about the Kingpin's crimes in return for reduced charges against herself. Ben Urich set up an interview with her.

(Daredevil I#232) - Lois waited in her cell as Urich came in to interview her, flanked by photographer Glorianna O'Breen, ally Blanders, and Officers Hegerfors and Coogan, who worked for the Kingpin. Coogan immediately shot Lois in the head, then opened fire on the others.
