History: (Marvel Adventures: The Avengers I#37) - Bucky was Captain America's sidekick during World War II. They were members of the Invaders superhero team which also included Golden Girl, Human Torch, Miss America, Toro and Whizzer.

(Marvel Adventures: Super Heroes I#12/2) - In 1942, during a leave from the US Army, Captain America (Steve Rogers) and Bucky Barnes joined other soldiers at the cinema. When the film ended, Bucky and Steve discussed the moments they liked. Bucky then began discussing his theory that Sergeant Duffy had become too soft by allowing the soldiers to return home for a while and giving them free movie tickets. A strange-robot calling himself P.R.O.D.O.K. suddenly appeared and began to randomly shoot in all directions. Barnes and Rogers dressed into their superhero costumes and attacked the enemy from the roof. They threw him to the ground and P.R.O.D.O.K. was ultimately neutralized. Examining the details of the robot, Bucky concluded that P.R.O.D.O.K. was constructed in the United States. One of the nearby soldiers confirmed Bucky's words by saying that the robot consisted of the same material as their army trucks.

(Marvel Adventures: The Avengers I#37 - BTS) - Captain America and Bucky received information that Heinrich Zemo was going to take over the newly-created drone planes. (see comments)

(Marvel Adventures: Super Heroes I#8 (fb)) - After Zemo acquired one of the drone planes, Bucky and Cap headed for the Boston military airbase and attempted to thwart Zemo's plans. The young superhero confidently declared that Zemo's drone plane could still be stopped and they got closer to it. Bucky grabbed the wing of the plane but Steve failed to reach. Bucky soon noticed the bomb, revealing a trap set by Zemo for the two heroes, but it was too late. The plane exploded and took Bucky's life.

Bucky's physical stats were approximated from his 616 counterpart.

Marvel Adventures: The Avengers I#37 states that Cap and Bucky were active in 1950s but it was retconned in their latter appearances to show Bucky dying in 1945.
Perhaps A Captain America & Bucky were active in the 1950s but they were other heroes using the identities, much like on Earth-616. --Proto-Man
