History:
(Daredevil I#378 (fb) - BTS) - Dr. Claudia DuBois was a medical doctor in Paris who briefly treated a dying S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, known as a "Volume Agent". While she had little to do with him, her interactions were enough to raise concerns among the men who killed the agent.
(Daredevil I#376) - A doctor at Mother Areil Hospital in Paris, DuBois treated patient Laurent LeVasseur, a man who had been mugged and had a mild concussion. Laurent appeared disoriented, and Claudia was baffled by the number of scars on his body, including one representing a bullet wound. Claudia told him she wouldn't report the mugging to the police, and Laurent told her he was an artist. Just then, a drunk man assaulted a cop and Laurent disarmed the man with a kick. Claudia gave Laurent her phone number, then went back to work. When she returned home, Claudia found Laurent waiting on her balcony, but before she could ask questions, a cordite explosion went off and armed men swarmed her apartment, with Laurent doing his best to hold them off.
(Daredevil I#377) - Claudia was impressed as Laurent fought off the ninjas of the Hand in the dark, jumped out the window with her, landed safely on the street, and kept battling the foes. Claudia kept asking questions about him as he saved her life multiple times. When Laurent was defeated, Claudia was taken by the ninjas and presented to the Kingpin.
(Daredevil I#378) - Tied up, Claudia was questioned by the Kingpin, who said she had information they needed. Claudia insulted Kingpin's weight, and Kingpin knocked out his ally Synapse in response.
(Daredevil I#379) - Kingpin and his Emissaries of Evil, including le Concierge and Synapse, brought Claudia into a room full of criminals, determined to show how Synapse could rewrite her entire memory. Claudia refused to beg for help, then Lauren LeVasseur attacked, freeing her. Claudia fled as he battled the villains. Claudia called the police. When the criminals were arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D., Claudia embraced Laurent, but he was different as he had his memories as Daredevil back.
