History: (Avengers Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill Alpha#1 (fb) - BTS) - Bev managed the Virginian restaurant aptly named Bev's Diner, where she was an accomplished cook. Her grandson eventually took over the Diner but eventually closed it when he moved to Oregon.

(Avengers Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill Alpha#1 - BTS) - After the Winter Soldier (Bucky Barnes) led Steve Rogers to meet him at the abandoned Bev's Diner, cooking food for Rogers, Winter Soldier suggested Rogers eat, admitting it wasn't the same as the old days as he wasn't Bev.

Comments: Created by Nick Spencer and Jesus Saiz.

Bev was never actually seen in-story, only mentioned in passing thoughts by Steve Rogers. While not specifically stated, it is presumed that Bev was the owner of Bev's Diner since Steve recalled it closing when Bev's grandson moved to Oregon. That being the case, it was not clear how long Bev herself ran the restaurant and at what point her grandson presumably took over from her. Then again, all we know for sure is that the Diner was closed when her grandson moved so it's possibly her grandson never actually ran the restaurant and it may have simply closed because the elderly Bev decided to move to Oregon with her grandson. My theory is that Bev owned/managed Bev's Diner as long as she could and the Diner presumably passed down through the family, probably to Bev's child and then Bev's grandson, who eventually closed it to move to Oregon.

Since Bev was never seen, her physical stats were impossible to determine.

While the issue never stated where Bev's Diner was located, Steve Rogers recalled visiting it from Camp Lehigh, placing the Diner somewhere in Virginia.
