History: (Doctor Strange & the Sorcerers Supreme I#4 (fb)) - When 1950s sorceress Nina the Conjuror searched for her missing brother Joao, she encountered a group of "pink crystal men," who attacked and attempted to bar her from facing Camelot-era sorcerer Merlin, who was using the "crystal men" to protect himself from the mystic Forgotten. Cutting off the limbs and outright shattering most of the "crystal men," Nina finally came face-to-face with Merlin, from whom she demanded to know where her brother was as the surviving "crystal men" laid damaged on the ground. After explaining to Nina that had brother had been corrupted, Merlin revealed to her that the "crystal men" were being used to protect him from Joao and the Forgotten.

Comments: Created by Robbie Thompson, Javier Rodriguez and Alvaro Lopez.

It was unclear what exactly the "pink crystal men" were. They seemed to be protecting Merlin from Nina the Conjuror but it was never stated if they were actual beings or merely simulacrum conjured by Merlin to protect himself from Nina.
