History:

(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1 - BTS) - After manifesting her mutation, Annie enrolled at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters where she received the codename Lipid.

(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1 (fb) - BTS) - Lipid told her friend Iolanthe she hated Jeb although she was just mad at the boy. Instead of keeping this to herself Iolanthe told Jeb all about it.

(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1 (fb) - BTS) - Lipid's father called her to tell the emotional girl he was divorcing her mother. Unable to deal with this emotional news, Lipid decided to lash out at things she could control, like her gossiping friends.

(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1) - Lipid shoved Iolanthe against the lockers after she discovered Iolanthe had told Jeb. Their fight caught the attention of Henry McCoy who was working as a replacement guidance counselor. The X-Man quickly pulled the girls apart and wanted to know what was going on. Lipid admitted she was the one who started the fight and was asked to join McCoy at his office to talk about the situation. There, she bursted into tears, slobbering and sobbing about all the things that had happened to her recently. Fearing her viscous, greasy tears would ruin his clothing, McCoy suggested to meet next week when she had calmed down. Lipid agreed and mentioned she was already late for Mr. Wagner's drama class after which McCoy offered to escort her there.

(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1 (fb) - BTS) - A few weeks later, Iolanthe once again gossiped about Lipid to Jeb, this time calling her a basket case.

(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1) - Lipid once again attacked Iolanthe after she found out about it. McCoy separated the girls, allowing Iolanthe to go and attend her science class while he had another talk with Lipid. Lipid however, was in no mood to listen to another one of McCoy's lectures, informing the X-Man he was the worst guidance counselor ever, adding that all the students thought he was a total joke after which she walked away.
