History:
(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1 - BTS) - After manifesting her mutation, Katie enrolled at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters where she took the codename Iolanthe (see comments).
(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1 (fb) - BTS) - When Iolanthe's friend Lipid (Annie Moore) told her she hated Jeb she went and told him even though Lipid was just mad at the boy.
(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1) - Iolanthe was shoved against the lockers by Lipid after she discovered Iolanthe had told Jeb. Their fight caught the attention of replacement guidance counselor Dr. Henry McCoy who quickly pulled the girls apart. Lipid admitted she was the one who started the fight and was asked to join McCoy at his office to talk about the situation, thus learning what had transpired between the girls.
(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1 (fb) - BTS) - A few weeks later, Iolanthe once again gossiped about Lipid to Jeb, this time calling her a basket case.
(X-Men Unlimited II#10/1) - Iolanthe was again attacked by Lipid after she found out about it. McCoy separated the girls once more, allowing Iolanthe to go and attend her science class while he had another talk with Lipid.

Iolanthe; or, The Peer and the Peri, is a comedic opera composed by Arthur Sullivan and libretto by W.S. Gilbert. It tells the tale of Iolanthe, a fairy banished from fairyland because she broke the law by marrying a mortal man.
Iolanthe's last name and codename have been revealed in the Xavier Institute entry of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z HC#13 (2010).
