(Generation X#10 (fb) - BTS) - Inspector Magrite and her team were following rogue interpol agent Sean Cassidy who in turn was on the trail of serial killer Arkady Rossovich, the future superhuman threat called Omega Red, who had been leaving behind a bloody trail of murder and death.

(Generation X#10 (fb)) - Having traced Cassidy down to an apartment in Paris, Magrite and her team came busting through the door and witnessed him standing over the body of another murdered girl. Magrite however, was aware he'd been following the trail of a serial killer but thought that maybe these people had solely been murdered to lure Cassidy into a trap. Just as she prepared to detain the rogue agent, he fired his gun at the chandelier. The chandelier fell down, crippling her men. Magrite rushed towards the window to find Cassidy already gone. She ordered her men to secure the crime scene as she would go after Cassidy.

(Generation X#11 (fb) - BTS) - An hour later, Magrite arrived at the morgue to check on the bodies of the deceased. However, they had already been confiscated by Interpol, with the coroner's reports sealed as well. Magrite couldn't escape the notion Cassidy's story was true and decided to aid him in his quest. She followed Cassidy to Cassidy Keep in Ireland.

(Generation X#11 (fb)) - Margrite met Cassidy at his keep, offering her aide. Without revealing his sources, Cassidy revealed he expected someone had been using mutants as living weapons, something Magrite had always dismissed as a modern myth. After Sean brought her up to speed, Magrite vowed to help him take Arkady Rossovich. After climbing the giant castle they came eye to eye with the Russian serial killer who congratulated them on finding him. The insane killer repeated that he wanted to be killed by Cassidy but Sean refused and even put away his gun. Just as he did so Arkady activated the airborne Death Spore virus he had infected Magrite with in the hopes of motivating Cassidy to kill him. Magrite went into shock, she fell of the castle wall. Cassidy rushed to help her, but couldn't hold on to her hand. Magrite fell to her death.

(Generation X#7 - BTS) - Twenty years later the events surrounding Magrite's death, the experience still caused Cassidy to have nightmares. One night, just as he relived Magrite's final moments, the nightmare was interrupted when the White Queen woke him up.

It's been unrevealed if Magrite was also working for Interpol as well, or just the French authorities.
