Mordo also seemed able to breathe in space, although this could also have been made possible by Doctor Strange's powers.

History:

(Marvel Mangaverse: Eternity Twilight (fb) - BTS) - Baron Mordo was one of the Keepers the secret beneficiaries behind Hydra, the organization worked to one day bring the Elder Gods back to rule Earth.

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn (fb) - BTS) - At a certain point the Keepers assured Mordo that Doctor Strange had perished after a battle with the Yeti.

(Marvel Mangaverse: Eternity Twilight (fb) - BTS) - When Mordo learned Stark planned to rebuild his energy well after the last one had been destroyed during the Blackout Wars, he realized Hydra had a second chance to acquire it. Mordo and Hydra knew the energy well's true purpose wasn't to produce energy but to serve as a conduit to the Ethereal Realm populated by banished gods and monsters.

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn (fb) - BTS) - Baron Mordo used his magics to become the head ambassador of the Euro-Asian Alliance, figuring this position would most likely help his plan.

(Marvel Mangaverse: New Dawn) - In his position as ambassador of the Central Euro-Asian alliance Mordo was requested to visit Antoinette "Toni" Stark on Stark Island along with colonel Nick Fury of SHIELD and American president Steve Rogers. Here he and the other officials were addressed by Stark, she revealed the thing Mordo had known all along: Doctor Bruce Banner was rebuilding his energy wall to produce clean and unlimited energy. To help convince people he really was an ambassador, Mordo acted outraged, pleading Stark couldn't possibly control the forces she was dealing with. After listening to some of President Rogers's arguments, Mordo decided to reserve further judgement on the project's safety until the final tests were completed. Mordo was then escorted to the Stark's guest suite.

Realizing this was the moment to use the machine to once again summon the Elder Gods to Earth, Mordo planned to kidnap Banner. That very night Mordo, used his magics to teleport the Black Widow and Executioner through the astral plane. Unbeknownst to Mordo, his magics had been noticed by Doctor Strange who was right in the middle of dissecting a Pikachu (yes...). The Hydra agents quickly captured Banner and Mordo ordered them to leave in a submarine, following the escape route he'd already planned out. With Banner under wraps, Mordo moved to the final step of his plan and infected Stark's computer with a magical virus. Before he could shut down her entire system, he was teleported to space by Doctor Strange. Surprised Strange was still alive, he immediately used his magics to fight Strange. Unimpressed by Mordo's clumsy magics, Strange uttered a spell to break both of Mordo's arms.

(Marvel Mangaverse: Eternity Twilight) - While still floating in space, Mordo explained the energy well's true purpose even as the Elder God Dormammu and the giant Hulk monster had already been released upon Earth. Mordo hoped to persuade Strange to join their cause. But when he mentioned Strucker, Strange realized Mordo was only meant to distract him. Strange then dismissed Mordo by sending him to the Ethereal Realm he so admired.

(Marvel Mangaverse#4) - Back in his study, Doctor Strange used one of his orbs to check in on Baron Mordo who seemed to be suffering excruciating pains.

Due to the Asian specific nature of the Mangaverse reality, it goes without saying that while characters might look similar to their 616 counterparts, they most likely will have distinctly different names, codenames or powers. Therefore we will only list the names when they have been used in the comics.
