Powers/Abilities: The Destructor wears a homemade costume with harmless sparklers in the gloves to simulate super-powers.
History: (Amazing Spider-Man I#698) - The Destructor was a "bluffer", a criminal who pretends to be a super-villain to avoid harsh sentencing laws for firearm crimes. He attempted to rob a deli, but unfortunately ran into Spider-Man, whose body had just been usurped by Dr. Octopus. The wall-crawler decked him with one punch, apparently breaking his clavicle. As Spider-man chatted with the police, the Destructor was loaded onto an ambulance.

It's a shame this guy's a faker, because that's kind of a neat costume. It's definitely worth, like, first prize at one of those cosplay pageants.
