(Spider-Man in "Bottle of Doom") - Determined to capture Spider-Man for his "bug collection," mad scientist Doctor Malice trapped Spider-Man inside a gigantic glass jar. Wishing to kill his enemy, Malice pushed the trapped Spider-Man into a deep pit but, as he fell, Spider-Man managed to unscrew the jar's lid and escape, softening his fall by creating a web parachute. Climbing back out of the pit, Spider-Man returned Malice's favor by trapping Dr. Malice inside one of his own gigantic jars, commenting that Malice's bug collecting days were over.

Nothing much was revealed about Doctor Malice. Looking at the comic strip, he was either normal human size and used giant glass jars to trap enemies OR he was very, very tiny and somehow shrunk Spider-Man down to size and trapped him inside a normal size jar (which would suggest some sort of growth-altering abilities or technology). My personal suggestion is that he just used giant jars...after all, he IS mad.

Doctor Malice was a character who appeared in a cartoon slide that was used with Kenner's See-a-Show toy. The copyright on the slide is 1967 Marvel Comics Group, so he's owned by Marvel and not Kenner. Sadly, no credits were given in the slide.
