History:

(Generation M#4 (fb) - BTS) - James and his identical twin Joe grew up very differently as Joe was well achieved in high school and James relatively uncoordinated. When they turned 17, however, James developed an alchemy based mutant ability that allowed him to change the composition of things. James briefly became a student at Professor Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, and he got caught up in the celebrity of his talents, making TV appearances like the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He eventually moved to Japan and developed popularity there, resisting contact attempts from his family. Joe, meanwhile, went to college, got married, had two kids, and got divorced. Caught up in paying alimony and struggling to make ends’ meet, Joe buried his mom and taking care of his elderly dad; he grew to resent James. After M-Day, James found himself powerless and came back to make amends with Joe, who wanted nothing to do with him.

(Generation M#4) - Joe and James did an interview with Sally Floyd for her Ex-Mutant Diaries, and it was later printed.
