History:

(Daredevil II#85 (fb) - BTS) - Alton Lennox hired Chico and Merv to watch out for his interests and to keep Lennox disappear safely. Lennox had also hired Danny Rand to act as Daredevil while Matt Murdock was in prison.

(Daredevil II#85) - When private investigator Dakota North came asking questions about Alton Lennox, Chico and Merv were sent after her, though Chico was nervous about it.

(Daredevil II#87) - Chico and Merv kept an eye out on North for the next day, sleeping in their car outside her apartment. Merv began thinking she had learned too much and wanted to kill her. Chico asked him to get permission first, happy to let her live, but Merv, in broad daylight, drew his gun and moved to kill her with Chico on his heels. North saw them coming and punched Merv to the ground. Chico, furious, grabbed a gun and opened fire on North, but Daredevil (Danny Rand) crashed down and knocked both villains out. As he fell, Merv claimed that he and Daredevil were on the same side.

(Daredevil II#97) - Chico and Merv were sent by Turk to pick up someone, and Chico grew nervous about who it would be. Merv got annoyed with Chico before Gladiator (Melvin Potter) got in their car.

(Daredevil II#98 (fb) - BTS) - Chico and Merv were assigned by Turk Barrett, an employee of Mr. Fear (Larry Cranston), to deliver fear inducing drugs all over Hell’s Kitchen.

(Daredevil II#99) - Chico and Merv were scheduled to pick up a shipment, but when it was too quiet and the drugs were missing, they began to feel like it was a set up. Daredevil swung in on them and demanded information. He knocked Merv out and learned from Chico more about the drug.

(Daredevil II#103) - Merv struggled to fix his car so that he and Chico could escape once they realized that Turk had sold out on them. Daredevil shocked them both by appearing and Chico panicked, though Merv kept a cool head. Daredevil told them they would either stick to the deal or go to prison. He then had them report where Doc Parker’s office was.

(Punisher War Journal II#19 (fb) - BTS) - Chico and Merv started running a magazine stand, providing a list of bizarre prescriptions to Frank Castle.

(Punisher War Journal II#19) - As Chico yelled at Merv for not putting the toilet paper back on the roll, Frank came in to pick up his prescriptions. That night, watching the news, they realized Castle was the Punisher. Then GW Bridge, Domino, Silver Sable, and Contessa de Fontaine came in looking for Castle's information.

(Punisher War Journal II#20) - Chico and Merv worried that Punisher would come back for them and they closed the shop down, covering the windows. He came in the back, demanding to know who they'd talked to and about what. They informed him that Jigsaw had put a hit out on him.

(Daredevil II#117) - Chico and Merv were at Josie's Bar when the Kingpin and Turk suddenly entered. They heard how Kingpin planned to deal with Daredevil. While Chico called Murdock, Merv packed their stuff into a car. After Chico's call to Murdock they left town because business had became too hot for them.
