Powers/Abilities: Col. Jordan had no superhuman powers, but was a skilled U. S. Army Colonel who was over a small group of men. He was a well-trained military soldier, able to use various weapons and trained for various duties.

History:  (Avengers I#276) - Following the Masters of Evil's takeover of Avengers Mansion, the U. S. military was called in to help destroy the Darkforce barrier surrounding the Mansion. Ant-Man and Wasp escaped the takeover and spoke with Col. Jordan, who agreed to allow the Avengers to handle the situation first. The Wasp and Ant-Man soon managed to send out a message to Thor and Captain Marvel soon returned to help as well. As the Avengers began to take back the Mansion, Col. Jordan and other military men began to notice as the Darkforce cube surrounding the Mansion started to fade.

 (Avengers I#277 - BTS) - With the Darkforce cube faded, Col. Jordan sent groups of U. S. Army rangers inside the Mansion to help with emergency aid, but they were stopped by Captain America before they fell into the sub-basement due to a hole created by the falling Goliath.
