History:

(Daredevil I#120) - El Jaguar led his Hydra team of Bravos Commandos in targeting Foggy Nelson, a district attorney sought by SHIELD to become part of their new board of directors. They located and attacked a New Year's Eve party that Nelson was attending (along with Matt Murdock and Natalia Romanova). Changing to his Daredevil outfit, Murdock and Black Widow fought the terrorists and while Jaguar kept up with Daredevil in combat, he had to retreat when Nick Fury and SHIELD agents arrived.

(Daredevil I#121) - Jaguar explained his failure to the Supreme Hydra (Silvermane).

(Daredevil I#122) - Daredevil and Black Widow tracked Hydra member Blackwing to a warehouse near Shea Stadium, and when Black Widow saw Jaguar inside, she told Daredevil to go after Blackwing while she attended to Jaguar. Though she savagely attacked him for the beating she received at the party attack, Jaguar quickly gained the upper hand. With no other option, Black Widow set her "widow's bite" weapon to deliver a killing strike, but it only injured Jaguar, knocking him out.

(Daredevil I#123) - Man-Killer found the unconscious Jaguar and brought him to Blackwing (who had defeated Daredevil) and Supreme Hydra. From there, the Hydra members took their captives back to their main headquarters underneath Shea Stadium. As Jaguar began to recover, the heroes fought back, and when SHIELD agent Dum Dum Dugan arrived, Jaguar attacked him, only to be defeated by being slammed into a wall. Though the Supreme Hydra and Blackwing escaped, the rest were rounded up by SHIELD.

(Captain America I#319) - Jaguar was invited by Gary Gilbert (the former villain Firebrand) to attend a meeting at the Bar with No Name regarding the recent Scourge killings. Jaguar attended the meeting with over a dozen other super-villains, but the bartender revealed himself to be Scourge and shot all of them dead.

(Captain America I#320) - Water Wizard, late for the meeting, found Jaguar and the rest's bodies. He then alerted Captain America, who had authorities pick up the deceased villains.

Comments: Created by Tony Isabella, Bob Brown and Vince Colletta.

Jaguar is from somewhere in Latin America.

It's never explained how Jaguar came about his powers, but I'd imagine he was mutated.
