History:

(Generation M#4 (fb) - BTS) - Detective Izzo spent three years on the Mutant Crimes Unit of the New York Police Department.

(Generation M#2 (fb) - BTS) - Izzo was investigating the murders of various former mutants when another victim, LaTonya Jefferson, was found impaled to her ceiling. He contacted reporter Sally Floyd to update her on the case.

(Generation M#2) - Floyd met Izzo at a bar, where Jerry and Doug sat outside. He told Floyd about the murder and shared his theory that the perpetrator was a mutant himself. She later turned down his offer for police protection.

(Generation M#4) - Izzo investigated a crime scene when the body of Violet Sanchez was thrown on the car of Sally Floyd. He figured they had no choice but to go public. He agreed to let Floyd write the piece and guaranteed police protection for her. He later sat in on a psychological profile of the Ghoul.
