History:
(Daredevil I#6 (fb)) - After accidentally discovering fear gas, Zoltan Drago
embarked on a costumed criminal career as Mr. Fear. Using his fear gas,
he coerced the Eel (Leopold Stryke) and Ox (Raymond Bloch) to join him
as the Fellowship of Fear, and he used his wax museum as their hideout.
(Daredevil I#6) - Mr. Fear hired a movie crew to film Ox and Eel robbing a store, surmising that the public would think it to be a legitimate movie with the camera crew present. But Daredevil attacked and the Fellowship fled after exposing the hero to the fear gas.
Seeking revenge, Mr. Fear created a new wax figure of Daredevil, to lure the hero to his museum. That night, Daredevil went inside the building and the villains nearly triumphed over him; but Foggy Nelson entered and tore off Mr. Fear's mask. Ox knocked Nelson out and the Fellowship fled. Since Nelson was suffering from a concussion, Daredevil carried him to a hospital for treatment.
Later, Mr. Fear was concerned that Nelson would be able to identify him to the police, so the three Fellowship members posed as doctors, then they invaded Nelson's hospital room and ordered Karen Page to leave; but Daredevil burst through the window and battled the Fellowship yet again, briefly fighting them before the villains rushed back to their museum hideout.
As they were abandoning the wax museum with their stolen loot, the Fellowship suddenly realized that the real Daredevil was posing as the wax figure of himself. Daredevil fought and defeated the villains, and left them tied up for the police, thus putting an end to the Fellowship of Fear.
