At some point in his life, the hero known as Daredevil had lost his hearing. While battling crime, he often had trouble hearing what the thugs were saying but he could see them perfectly.
Presumably, Daredevil's other senses (sight, taste, smell, and touch) were heightened to superhuman levels. It was unrevealed if he still possessed the radar sense that his Earth-616 counterpart had.
