History:

(Daredevil I#264 (fb) - BTS) - A self-styled rent-a-gang in Chicago, the Bombers were hired by the Owl out of New York to help take control of the drug trade in Hell's Kitchen, New York City.

(Daredevil I#264) - As the Bombers engaged in antics aboard the Owl's helicopter, including playing bongos and lighting off firecrackers at each other, the Owl explained how they were going to switch out the brown paper bags of the gang the Cannibals, trading their drugs during their drop for explosives that Einstein had wired. The Bombers taunted the Owl for his outdated style, but he jumped out of the helicopter and glided to the ground to impress them. The Bombers moved into action immediately, accidentally leaving one bombed bag in trade for a bag that had a baby in it, which had been set down by the baby's homeless adopted father. Einstein soon delivered the news that they could get all their drugs back for five million dollars, but the Cannibals drew their guns. Both gangs were shocked when Daredevil (Matt Murdock) intervened and broke up the fight, but he soon rushed off in a fight against the Owl. After Owl fled, Daredevil forced Einstein to help disarm the rest of the bombs.

Cannibals

(Daredevil I#264) - A New York City based gang, the Cannibals wore matching jackets that had a set of teeth that said "Eat It" on the back. They changed their drug delivery system weekly. They planned to deliver their "blow" by leaving paper bags in garbage cans to be picked up by another courier, not knowing the Owl (Leland Owlsley) had hired the Chicago-based Bombers (including the Bloods) to switch the bags with bombs. Bombs began scaring the Cannibals across the city and Daredevil became involved as the Cannibals, figuring the Bloods gang was behind it, targeted the Bloods. Einstein soon delivered the news to the Cannibals that they could get all their drugs back for five million dollars, but the Cannibals drew their guns. Both gangs were shocked when Daredevil (Matt Murdock) intervened and broke up the fight, but he soon rushed off in a fight against the Owl. After Owl fled, Daredevil forced Einstein to help disarm the rest of the bombs.

Bloods

(Daredevil I#264) - The Bloods were a gang based in New York City who wore jackets with a yellow drop of blood on the back. When the Bombers targeted the Cannibals, the Cannibals initially blamed the Bloods.
