History:

(NFL SuperPro#11 (fb) - BTS) - For years Leech worked together with Dean Robert Shahidi from Clinton University. Together they manipulated the test scores of athletes, so they could easily pass college. Before they left college Shahidi sent those athletes to Leech, who became their agent. At one all of them had to pay something back to Leech and many of these athletes became henchmen for Leech.

(NFL SuperPro#11) - Leech confronted Bud Corkin after his team played NFL SuperPro because Corkin had made a deal with him and owed him money. SuperPro watched the conversation and visited the next day Leech as Phil Grayfield. Leech didn't want to discuss his dealings with Grayfield. He advised Grayfield to talk to his lawyers if he wanted answers and then told him to go. Leech sent a few henchmen after Grayfield, but they were beaten up by NFL SuperPro, who appeared after Grayfield jumped down the parkhouse. Grayfield recognized Zip Ramirez, who was one of the henchmen, and started to look for a connection between Zip and Corkin with Ken Reid's help. They found out that both had attended Clinton University and Leech was their agent. They found around 70 other athletes from Clinton University that had Leech as their agent too, so Grayfield visited the college's dean, who in return called Leech because Grayfield was asking questions. Leech hired Constrictor to go after Corkin, as an example for others, and Phil Grayfield. Constrictor failed because of SuperPro and Hal Leech was soon arrested. Grayfield reported live from the courthouse where Leech was found guilty of collusion and fraud.

If you look at the image on the right you'll probably recognize some of the names. Although it is likely that some of them were working for Hal Leech and not Marvel Comics on Earth-616.

The Gulls Corkin played for were probably the Rhode Island Gulls.

Clinton University in Livonia, Michigan (this is the only one I found).

Bud Corkin

Bud Corkin was basically illiterate, but Dean Shahidi manipulated his marks to get him through college. Hal Leech became his agent after college and with his help Corkin became a player for the Gulls (see comments). One day after the Gulls had just played and lost against NFL SuperPro, Leech hassled Corkin because he wanted back some of the money he invested in him. Grayfield watched it and tried to talk with Corkin about it, but Corkin didn't want to talk. After a few investigations Grayfield called Corkin and told him that he knew that his agent was a crook and how Corkin passed college. Corkin admitted it and wanted to meet with Grayfield at the arena he normally played. Constrictor overheard Corkin from outside his window and went to the arena as well. There he attacked Corkin and Ken Reid, but NFL SuperPro helped them and defeated Constrictor after Corkin and Reid had run safety. They called the police and Corkin told SuperPro that he was pretty sure that Shahidi worked together with Leech because he sent the athletes to Leech.

Mr. Hardwood

He was the coach at Clinton University. He didn't know about Shahidi's evil deeds and stood beside the new Dean when Shahidi was fired.

--NFL SuperPro#11

Ms. Morrissey

Morrissey gave Grayfield the advice to look at the athletes' test scores after his first meeting with Dean Shahidi. Morrissey became the new Dean after Shahidi was fired and promised to give all alumni and present students a chance to get the education they deserved.

Robert Shahidi

Shahidi was the Dean of Clinton University and worked together with Hal Leech for years. He manipulated the marks of good students and sent them to Hal Leech when they became pro athletes. Phil Grayfield tried to talk to him about Hal Leech signing so many athletes from Clinton University, but Shahidi wasn't of much help and only called Leech after Grayfield was gone. After Leech was arrested it became official that Shahidi was his partner. He got fired and a civil suit was underway against him.
