FENWAY

Real Name: Homer Un

Identity/Class: Human

Occupation: Mercenary

Group Membership: None

Affiliations: C.F., Deadpool, Patch, Roach, Weasel and other Hellhouse mercs.

Enemies: T-Ray, occasional Hellhouse mercs

Known Relatives: None

Aliases: None

Base of Operations: The Hellhouse

First Appearance: (Seen) Deadpool III#1 (January, 1997)
(named) Deadpool III#5 (May, 1997)

Powers/Abilities: Fenway was a strong man (perhaps even superhumanly so) and he could swing a mean baseball bat. He also had a skill for working a baseball metaphor or reference into every sentence.

History: (Deadpool III#1) - Fenway was present in the Hellhouse as Patch handed out an assignment.

(Deadpool III#5) - As tensions grew in the Hellhouse because of Deadpool and T-Ray's rivalry, Fenway kept Roach from mentioning Deadpool and bringing T-Ray's wrath down on himself.

(Deadpool III#7) - Fenway was present when Deadpool brought Typhoid Mary to the Hellhouse and witnessed T-Ray burning Wade's mask off. Patch offered money to any merc who take out T-Ray, but no one, including Fenway accepted the challenge.

(Deadpool III#8) - Weasel, C.F. and Fenway discussed Wade's situation. Fenway suggested that if Wade didn't take action against T-Ray other mercs would see it as a sign of weakness.

(Deadpool III#9) - Fenway and C.F. distracted Patch giving Deadpool an opportunity to rough up the mercs that had been considered siding with T-Ray.

(Deadpool III#14) - Fenway was in the Hellhouse with Patch and C.F. when T-Ray arrived to tell them that he'd beaten Deadpool and that he was going to take a vacation.

(Deadpool III#16 (fb)) - As C.F. tried to lighten the mood at the Hellhouse, Fenway talked him out of it since nobody felt much like partying anymore. Patch came and told them that business had been much better since Deadpool left and they had to agree, though they wished Wade had said goodbye. They were unaware that Wade was hiding above and heard everything. Once 'Pool was gone Ajax arrived and knocked Fenway and C.F. to the floor as he approached Patch for information on Deadpool.

(Deadpool III#30) - When Alestair Grunch arrived at the Hellhouse seeking Patch's help Patch had C.F. and Fenway protect him from the unruly mercs who had begun showing up there after T-Ray beat Deadpool. Patch called in Deadpool and Fenway and C.F. helped Wade fend off the mercs who tried to kill him to please T-Ray.

(Deadpool III#61) - Fenway was among the mourners at Wade's funeral.

Fenway is more than likely named after Fenway Park. Perhaps he's from Boston?

Also, I swear there just isn't a good picture of this guy anywhere...

In Deadpool III#16, 'Pool tells Bullseye "speaking of the fairer sex, you should have seen C.F. and Fenway at Hellhouse last month... They almost beat each other senseless fighting over a twitch with a leather fetish and a bionic tail." He was making up the story so that Bullseye wouldn't know he had been kicked out of the Hellhouse, so it isn't true, but it gives the impression that Bullseye would know who he was talking about. For that reason I've included Bullseye in the Affiliations.

Fenway received a real name in the Hellhouse profile in Deadpool Corps: Rank and Foul.
