They made an agreement to work together in the future and when Donovan told Stark about the industrial espionage problem they had, Stark promised him that he and Iron Man would help Donovan robotics. Two months later Iron Man got an alarm from Donovan Robotics and when he had arrived there he connected himself to the security computer to find out what was wrong. A specially designed worm virus entered Iron Man's armor and Donovan revealed his true intentions. He told Iron Man that he would steal technology from his armor and add it to his robots to make them invincible. Donovan sent his "Fight-Bots" against Iron Man and they defeated him. Donovan entered the room, but Iron Man's armor had rebooted in the meantime, and now he destroyed Donovan's robots. Donovan tried to flee, but Iron Man captured him and handed him over to the police.
