Powers/Abilities: Yetrigar is incredibly strong (Class 100) due to his size (approximately 100 feet or so tall) and was durable enough to weather Godzilla's bites and radioactive flame-breath. He can also apparently go tremendously long periods of time in hibernation without food.

History:
(Godzilla#10 (fb) - BTS) - A creature of "unproven myth", he was frozen for a time unknown with a cavern in what eventually would become Alberta, Canada.

(Godzilla#10 (fb)) - Radiation and heat from a nuclear test were transmitted up a subterranean fault stretching from the desert of Arizona to the glacial cavern in Alberta, Canada. The tremor shattered the creature's icy prison, while the radiation began to transform the creature. Making its way to the surface, the creature began heading south, growing larger with each stride.

(Godzilla#10) - Three months later, the creature encountered the Godzilla Squad's Behemoth helicarrier, hurling an immense boulder at it, causing it to crash to the ground. The creature then headed off, following the trail of the nearby Godzilla. It caught up to the giant reptile on the edge of the Grand Canyon, catching it by surprise with punch in the face and knocking it into the Canyon. However, as he began to fall, Godzilla reached out and snagged the creature, pulling it down with it. The two continued their battle within the Canyon, matching each other blow for blow, until they were confronted by Red Ronin, piloted by Rob Takiguchi.
Rob named the creature Yetrigar, after the legendary giant Yeti from the snow-mountains of his homeland.

(Godzilla#11) - Red Ronin separated Yetrigar and Godzilla by blasting at the rocks around them. This only enraged both monsters, and they attacked the robot. Rob, via Ronin, tried to prove he was helping Godzilla by holding Yetrigar, but the behemoth broke loose. With no choice, Robert fired Ronin's blasters at some rocks above Yetrigar, burying the creature underneath.

(West Coast Avengers II#32) - Attempting to gain revenge on the Phantom Rider that violated her, Mockingbird led the rest of the West Coast Avengers on a vacation trip to the Grand Canyon, where she knew archaeologist Hamilton Slade was working on a project. She used an explosive device to free Yetrigar so that the creature would provide a distraction to the rest of her teammates while she tracked down Slade. Their attack on the beast proved futile until Hank Pym placed an object inside Yetrigar's ear, and used his Pym Particles to enlarge it, knocking the creature unconscious.

(Avengers Spotlight#26 (fb) - BTS) - After his defeat at the hands of the Avengers, Yetrigar was placed in the maximum security prison known as the Vault.

(Avengers Spotlight#26) - During a break-out at the Vault, the Avengers Hawkeye and Iron Man arrived to stop the criminals that were running loose. While roaming the Vault, they encountered Yetrigar trying to tear out of his holding cell. The two Avengers got out of the Vault and had it placed back in lockdown, trapping Yetrigar and any remaining villains inside.

(Marvel Monsters: From the Files of Ulysses Bloodstone and the Monster Hunters#1 (fb)-BTS) - After the Vault shut down, Yetrigar was presumably taken elsewhere, possibly Monster Isle.
