Real Name: Uhr'Oggloth

Identity/Class: Extraterrestrial and/or extradimensional giant cephalopod

Occupation: Unrevealed;
    at least served as a warrior

Group Membership: None known

Affiliations: High Summoner;
    at least formerly
Hool-go-Dir, the vanquished god; and Dur, the undying

Enemies: Cable (Nathan Dayspring Askani'son, the younger counterpart I'm not really certain how to clarify), Cyclops (Scott Summers), Prestige (Rachel Grey/Summers of Earth-811)

Known Relatives: None

Aliases: Great beast of the outer realm

Base of Operations: Presumably the Outer Dark (although it is unrevealed if this is the same Outer Dark as the Lovecraftian realm, or that associated with the Haemovore Kings; or with the monstrous demons summoned by Alisabeth Daemon May, 1937, resulting in the Hindenburg explosion)uhroggloth-arrako-fight

First Appearance: X-Men V#2 (January, 2020)

Powers/Abilities: An immense cephalopod, Uhr'Oggloth appears to have 8-10 massive/thick tentacles extending from its central body/head, each being covered with suction cups on the lower/inferior/dependant surface.

    Severing of a tentacle did not deter its actions, and it may or may not have been able to regenerate severed tentacles

Height: Unrevealed (approximately 12-15' tall when seated with its body/head on the ground); radially, it is likely 30-50' from the tip of one tentacle to the tip of an opposing tentacle
Weight: Unrevealed (unable to approximate given a lack of knowledge of its density)
Eyes: A rostral/anterior orange iris-like structure is surrounded or followed by a posterior pale yellow possible sclera-like structure; the apparent pupil is a horizontally-lengthened semi-linear to irregular pupil-like structure
Hair: None

History: (X-Men V#2 - BTS) - When Arakko, the island that was the "twin" to Krakoa and the other half of the former island Okkara, returned to Earth, Krakoa moved to be reunited with Arakko. Investigating the new island, Cyclops led Cable and Prestige to investigate. There they encountered the High Summoner who was preparing for Arakko and Krakoa to be reunited and for himself to be reunited with Apocalypse.

    When Cyclops and his children (alternate dimensional or otherwise) encountered the Summoner, they were unable to communicate with him, but Cable tried to show positive intent by giving the Summoner a gift, but he unwisely chose a thermal grenade, which the Summoner unwittingly activated, causing it to explode.uhroggloth-arrako-wrapcable

(X-Men V#2) - Believing this to have been an attack, the Summoner summoned a trio of beings -- Uhr'Oggloth, great beast of the outer realm; Hool-go-Dir, the vanquished god; and Dur, the undying -- who then attacked Cable, Cyclops and Prestige.

    Cable fired a blast from a hand weapon that severed off the end one of
Uhr'Oggloth's tentacles, but another tentacle wrapped up Cable, leaving only his head exposed. However, Prestige then downloaded the Krakoan (or possibly English) language into the High Summoner, who then asked why they had attacked him. After Cable admitted to having made a bad choice, hostilities ceased.

    Krakoa and Arakko then merged again, and the Summoner wandered off, either taking
Uhr'Oggloth and the others with him or sending them back to wear they came from.

Comments: Created by Jonathan Hickman and Lenil Francis Yu.

    The text introducing the High Summoner noted that he could summon a horde of elementals and up to three major daemons, with "I think" Daemons being the inhabitants of Amenth, who had attacked Arakko in the past. I would guess that as the High Summoner summoned Uhr'Oggloth and two others, this would represent a summoning of three daemons, but beyond that, I don't think we have any further information on the nature of Uhr'Oggloth or the others.
